We met this company at the ******** **** *** ****** ****. He then came to our home and provided us with a quote for landscaping in both the front and back of our home. At the time, he seemed professional, had references. We paid him $1000 as a down payment for services to be rendered in the second half of May. Since that time, we have repeatedly tried to contact him, through phone and text messages, and we have had no reply. When we call, we do get his voicemail, but nobody returns our call. It has been two months of zero communication. We've asked for a return call, asked if he was still interested in the job, asked for a return of our funds, again, no communication. Before we file a claim with small claims court, we decided to reach out to the BBB for assitance. We do plan to file a claim at the end of next week.Business response
