Hello, back in September 2022 I signed up for an accelerator business program with the urban development center (The U). This program was a 10 week program to prep you for pitching your business and at the end you would compete against nine other individuals and receive a grant at the end of the competition.
In November 2022 I won first place granting me $7015 with an additional $1000 from the city Council. This total amount came to $8015. I was told I would receive these funds within 2 to 3 months after the competition was over.
It has now been eight months and I still have not received the funds during this eight months we were granted in an additional $2000 which makes my total $10,015 and I’ve only received $1000, I am still owed $9015.
Periodically the owner who goes by the name of Lo Lo send out emails stating that they are still waiting on the grant money to be received but we still have not received the funds.
