**** **** at Ohio State K-9 is indeed a Master Trainer. His focus is on the dog and human. I have an 8-month old stubborn German Shepherd. Through 7 weeks of training, we have made huge strides from not listening to unleased in a controlled environment (fenced yard). The training has been verbal and non-verbal hand commands. Repetition is key to a successful training experience.

The **** State K-9 College is an elite and selective training facility specializing in training both dogs and humans. The enrollment process is much like human Ivy League Universities, it consists of a test, phone interview, and in-person assessment before being approved for courses. The Master Trainer uses over 40 years of experience in vetting potential students. Fortunately, I became one of those students.Immediately after getting my puppy, I realized I needed help training him. He was going to be much larger than anticipated and was already showing signs of being stubborn and disobedient. I began searching the web for information. The only website with information that assured me that I would get quality training was The Ohio State K-9 College. I started the enrollment process by reading the entire website and taking the online test. After submitting the test, I called to schedule the phone interview. During the phone interview, the Master Trainer briefly reviewed the information from his website with me, and we quickly discussed goals and what I would need to accomplish them. This entire conversation demonstrated my dedication and commitment to properly training my dog. The in-person assessment was scheduled for me and my dog at the end of the call. We discovered that my dog was extremely stubborn, lazy, and disobedient during the assessment. We discussed his undesirable behaviors and how to fix them. At the end of the assessment, we agreed upon enrollment and set up our weekly class schedule.Once enrolled we began training in a quiet, comfortable one-on-one setting, just the Master Trainer, handler, and dog. The dog learns first, then the handler learns how to reinforce the command with the dog. The Total Control Course is amazing! Recently, my husband died and I contacted the Master Trainer about his advanced protection course for my adult dog. He assured me it wasnt a problem since he trains every breed of dog at any age.
