      12/19/23 i wanted to pursue a hobby of mine i purchased a nikon z8 camera for $4632.35 from midwest photos online website , it never made its way to me and then ended up showing delivered in los angeles? i reached out to midwest about this issue when i noticed it & was told that it looked like it made its way to my apartment complex and then from there it was able to be delivered to los angeles? im not really sure. they said it might be possible to recover the value of it and that it would take 14-21 business days. i waited the days and no resolution came out of it, everytime ive contacted and asked to be updated id be told theyll contact me with one and nothing would ever come out of it. the order number is #*********** & the tracking number to my order was ******************.

      Midwest Photo essentially ghosted me. They claim to have direct engagement with me but every engagement made was from my doing & me begging for an update. I was lead to imitate a chargeback because of this. They stopped replying after asking me to continuously keep waiting. Yes I did Initiate a chargeback however I was not provided with a refund amount of the purchase, They actually had the chargeback closed in their favor. I find this super unethical none the less. I am asking if bbb of central Ohio to make this right. I played the waiting game with Midwest photo nothing has came from it, i do not have the option to make a ups claim due to the fact they have had one already filled & my genuine chargeback was denied & closed in their favor while they claim it provided me with an “immediate resolution” I have attached the files proving that their 3rd statement is completely false. Id really appreciate it if  bbb of central Ohio can step in and get a resolution provided to me.

      no, that claim has been closed in your favor for over a week. The attempt of you lying to bbb suggesting a closed case is still open or won in my favor while I’m expressing my concerns to them is disgusting as a whole as a company. There has been no transparency from your end & I’ve had to go out of my way EVERY ATTEMPT  to even get a response out of your CS & Company about this. PayPal claimed this was ineligible for their protection that’s all. That doesn’t make and break the fact that this whole situation is ****** and absurd. As a Whole you’ve let down a customer and will probably continue to do so. I’m genuinely disgusted with this situation & your half baked attempts of trying to bs bbb of Ohio. I’m not sure what finally made you admit to that case being closed maybe it was my over expression of being tired of reading that the case is opened when it’s BEEN CLOSED but I’m glad you finally let up on it. to the next customer that experiences this shit situation I pity them.
