On 3/8/2024, I ordered a sub from Ange's Pizza on 5767 Karl Rd that was delivered not as ordered and when I called the restaurant to bring it to the Managers attention, he was rude and hung up the phone on me. I called back and his rudeness continued. I told the manager I showed the driver the sub and the driver agreed. The manager indicated the driver did not know how much meat should be on the sub and I told I have been order the sub for years and I know if there is extra meat on the sub or not. The manager indicated he would refund my money, but he missed the point, so I went to the restaurant and told him hanging up on me was not acceptable and asked him to remake the sub and offered to pay for another sub if he remade it for me. He proclaimed, "I don't like your attitude" I told him my attitude reflects how you are treating me as a customer. In his rudeness, he told me to leave / get out. This is unacceptable and needs to be reported to the actual owner of the restaurant whose name is *****. Note: I called another Ange's Pizza that ***** owns and the manager apologized for the treatment I received and indicated he would be sure that ***** receives the complaint and I can expect a call from him but ***** has yet to call.Customer response

***,***** owns the Ange's in Gahanna *** *** ****. The manager at that location told me he would contact ***** with my complaint so they know how to get in touch with him. They may have informed ***** of my experience and gave him my number but no one has contacted me. You know, the manager did not even inspect the sandwich to see if it was made according to my order. He simply did not care which angered me even more, so I left without incident and told him "That is ok; I know how to deal with you." I went home and called the Gahanna location to file a complaint and then I contacted the BBB. You know in their ignorance, the manager may have that I was threatening him, but I am a learned man who knows how to seek the proper redress. Maybe that is why ***** has not reached out to me but that is no excuse because a business owner should always seek out the truth by speaking to all parties involved in a dispute.Initial Complaint

My family and I have been getting pizza from Anges Pizza in Powell, Ohio for several years now; On Friday 12/2/22 I ordered a pizza, stromboli, and subs from the their website/online ordering option for pick up. I placed my order at 5:16pm and arrived at 5:50 pm for pick up. I have ordered online from this location many times before. I received a confirmation email that my order would be ready in 30 minutes and also my debit card was authorized and payment posted. I even left a tip on my card! When I arrived, the gentleman working asked for my name; went through the pick up process. He told me he didn't have a ticket for my order and proceeded to belittle me as if I placed it at the wrong location (honestly I checked multiple times before placing my order). He rudely interrupted me to take a phone call/order and was not very friendly. He came back to me and I showed him my phone with my confirmation email, reference/order number and all the items I had ordered. He proceeded to ask the 3 employees making pizzas if they had a ticket and they asked him what the name was and he said rudely "Jen something-or-other." The gentlemen stated that they did not see a ticket. I politely told him that I would come back when my order is ready, he then proceeded to get more irritated and told me that he could not make it because "I don't have a ticket!" I told him I have my order on my phone and he could use that and I'd gladly come back, he grabbed my phone from me and looked at the order, he became angry and irritated seeing my order for 3 subs, large pizza and stromboli. I asked him what I should do about my money and my pizzas then and he yelled at me with his arms in the air and said " I don't know what to tell you! I don't have a fucking ticket!" I have never in my life been treated so poorly as I was that night. I am disputing my transaction because they don't deserve another dime from me and to be honest I want all my money back that I have ever given them. The man, I sure hope he's not the owner, refused to give me his name. Needless to say, he never offered a refund or to make my order. I want my money back and for that person to be reprimanded somehow. I am attaching my confirmation email with the order # and location that I showed the man working Friday evening.
