I was offered a new lease, my rent was increased I agreed two weeks later I was hit with a 40 to vacate I complied and vacated during the course of living here I asked for a cat because they had a rodent problem the building is 120 years old yes they have a rodent problem they told me that they did not allow cats in the building. So I got a dog that is not going to deter mice. Wow simultaneously they allowed two of my three Nebor’s to have multiple cats which in return ran all mice into my unit plaguing me for years work order after work order was submitted begging for help. They would send people to put down sticky traps and Decon leaving dead mice all through my walls and to be found all through the home anytime any furniture was moved around the amount of feces under it was mine blowing. When moving out I opened a closet that I never went in and it was infested with dead mice and tons of feces.. I’m not a professional and I could not handle that cleaned out that one closet they have taking my deposit to charge me for cleaning this closet when it is due to their lackadaisical list of the years of actually addressing how the Rhotons got in the house as well as allowing all rodents to be ran into that unit I have a video of the two bags of trash the two small rug small chair and bookcase that was left in the house I want the rest of my deposit back.. I have pictures I have collected over the years of every time I move something amount of feces that was found under it I have pictures of all of the mice that were being captured or found dead throughout the unit I will not pay to remove feces or items that were contaminated by them failure to address the mice problem
