We hired Discount Roofing and Maintenance to replace the siding on our house
However as soon as they got the deposit they started acting incredibly strange - they were supposed to send over siding samples - they never did, they were supposed to start work - they rescheduled, then rescheduled again and then again and again (4 times in total)
At this point, we knew something was odd. We asked for a copy of their business paperwork, the required permits they supposedly pulled and their insurance, etc. They refused to send it - saying that I didn’t ask for this “upfront” so they didn’t have to provide it.
This raised major alarm bells so we started investigating - it turns out this company is completely fraudulent - the address they gave us belongs to another business that is not associated with them.
They are not pulling permits, they do not have insurance (although they advertise it) or workers comp, they have multiple aliases but no apparent legal name or entity. They are completely scammers.

I hired S&Y Roofing to repair my roof. After the supposed repair My roof but it is still leaking. I call them & not one calls me back. S&Y Roofing used a third party Company ***** **** **** **** to do the work supposedly. I have an invoice from them. But ***** **** **** **** Co no nothing about doing my work. I paid him $800 to S&Y Roofing. I want my $800 back. Credit Card Co already paid it out. I need to get another Business to come out & do the repair now. It is worse now.
