We entered a contract for senior pictures on 11/5/2021. Paid in full $285 + $25(travel)=$310 total. Price included 2 locations and 3 hours total. Pictures were originally scheduled for 12/4 but were pushed to 11/26 to avoid a wrestling conflict for the student.
On 11/26 day of pictures Michaela Dalessandri text says she is sick and can’t make it. We reschedule for 11/28.
On 11/28 day of pictures, Michaela Dalessandri text cancels again says she still isn’t feeling well. So we reschedule for 12/5.
On 12/5 day of pictures we receive another text that she needs to cancel again still sick and forgot about us and needs to cancel again. Ended up rescheduling for 12/12.
In 12/11 in the evening I receive a text from the lady asking to switch the time of the pictures from 3 to morning because she was worried about people in background. I already had other obligations scheduled so I declined and we agreed to keep our original time. We discussed the concern for the dead looking trees and agreed to move the location from Hocking Hills to Walnut Woods. Technically this would save her time since she already lives in Columbus and walnut woods is in Groveport. I didn’t even ask for my $25 back.
So 12/12 picture day -(pictures scheduled from 3-5:30) at 2pm we receive a text trying to move pictures from 3 to 4 for a blue light effect. We are already scheduled to 5:30 and it would be dark after that so we declined and wanted to keep our time. She finally replied back canceling again!!!!!!!!
Freaking liar said her morning shoot hadn’t shown and she was still waiting on them! Lady it’s 2 and that’s funny because you tried to get me to do pictures in the morning so how is that even possible. She asked I give her until 12/12 to issue my refund! I agreed and waited until 12/14 to reach back out about my refund not being sent. She is no longer replying nor has she issued my refund.

Thank you for all of your help! After I received your email stating you had reached out to the photographer she did refund my money.
I can’t express how much your help means. I can now use the refund to help pay for the new photographer.
I did a post about my experience with this lady and her business and another person came forward and said they had the exact same experience with her. So I do believe without your help she would have kept my money. You’re help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you again for all of your help. I’m not sure what needs to be done moving forward.
