Date: 12/11/2021. I paid and bout a car from the business. Paid $3,284 for a car - Toyota Corolla, 2003. VIN: ***************** At the time of buying the car, I pointed out to the business two issues about the car: 1. A red light on the dashboard which, at the time, I did not understand what it was about; 2. an unusual location of the horn, not at the center of the steering wheel as is normally the case but on the side - on the dashboard between the driver's door and the steering wheel. The business responded to those two concerns/complaints by saying that issues were not anything to worry about. Later, upon consulting with my mechanic, I learned that those two issues were serious matters that ought to have been addressed fully by the car seller/business. In particular, I learned that the red light on the dashboard was about air-bags. I also discovered that the car seemed to have been involved in a wreck prior to my buying it, yet the seller did not disclose this to me at the time of purchase. That discovery, in my opinion, explained why the car had issues. Had I known that the car had been involved in a wreck, I would not have bought it. I went back to the business on 1/7/2022 around 3pm to raise my concerns about the issues of the red light (I had now learned that it was about airbags), the horn and the possibility that the car may have been involved in a wreck prior to my buying it. However, the seller refused to take responsibility for the issues I raised, including his failure to disclose to me the history of the car which would have shown the possibility of the car having been involved in a wreck. In addition to refusing to take responsibility, the seller shouted at me and humiliated me by asking if I could not read the sign in English language in his office that read that he sold cars on "as-is basis". In summary: My dispute is that the seller refunds my money in fully ($3,284) and I return the car to him.Business response
