I'm not sure if you can help or not but I have tried contacting the manager, ***** of the Village Store & Lock located at 5319 S. Dixie Hwy., Cridersville, OH 45806. Phone number 419-645-4252 and no one answers the phone, I always get a voice mail not a person.
I have been renting a storage space since 2011 with no problems. I have always purchased and mailed the money orders by the 25th of the month before they were due so they would be received by the 1st of the month.
On September 20 I received a notice for an incorrect unit *** addressed to me but the letter was for a **** *****, *** ***** ***** **., *** *******, ** *****. The fetter states that the unit would be sold on September 19, 2022. I called and left a message for ***** and stated she personally sent back payments for several months because she does not accept partial payments. We have called Western Union where the money orders came from and the only check not cashed was the one we received on September 20, 2022 that was purchased and mailed on July 25, 2022 for August 1' payment. She did cash the money order purchase on August 22, 2022 and cashed by her on August 31" for the September Payment.
The April 22, 2022 money order for May was cashed. The money order purchase on May 18, 2022 for the June payment was cashed on June 7, 2022. The money order purchased on June 22, 2022 was cashed on July 7, 2022 and was for July. The August payment was purchased on July 25, 2022 and was returned to me on September 20, 2022 with the notice the unit was sold on September 19, 2022. The money order was returned in the envelope I sent it in and it was postmarked July 27 in Columbus OH. The money order purchased on August 22, 2022 was cashed on August 31, 2022and was for the September 1" payment.
I did not send an October payment because she said unit was sold. Today I received a text saying I didn't make an October payment and a late fee was charged.
I have tried to talk to ***** several times and she never answers or returns my messages. How do I find out how to get my items from the storage unit. I'm not sure if it has been sold. I'm still working so it is not possible to go to the unit during the week when ***** is there. I am not going to keep sending money after she said unit was sold on September 19, 2022.

My billing cycle is monthly on the 4th. I emptied the storage unit, cleaned it, sent documentation that it was emptied and cancelled the unit. They went ahead and billed for 5/04/22 to 6/04/22 and are refusing to refund my money.
