Subject: Incomplete work, "Chimney Repair" I am registering a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against Phillips & Son Chimney Services LLC. Enclosed is a copy of signed agreement stating work the company was to perform for me at *** ********* **. and the cost to do the job. Work was begun but not completed, so I contacted the company by priority mail (9/6/22). His response to my letter concerning the delay on completing the repair work was the problem with the bees in the chimney. He wanted to be given a new agreement to continue the repair work needed. Also enclosed are pictures of chimney showing conditions before work began and the condition of the chimney since the company was last on my property. The pictures show damages and the condition in which he left the chimney before demanding a new agreement. The purpose of contacting the BBB is to get a third party involved in what appears to be a dispute. My expectation of *** ******** and a representative of the BBB are being willing to satisfy the original agreement. Whatever can be done before I proceed with legal action, I will pursue and this letter is documentation of such. Please let me know if your office is able to assist with this complaint. BBB spoke to the business owner by phone. He indicated they had to stop work on the chimney when they discovered honey bees as it is required that an expert take care of the removal of the bees first. The customer has not paid for any services. The business owner indicated they did attempt to have someone out to the home to remove the bees. However, the customer asked him to leave the property. The business owner indicated that the customer was advised no work could be done on the chimney until the bees are removed.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:PLEASE REFER TO THE AGREEMENT ME. PHILLIP SIGNED ; LAST SENTENCE , ALSO REMOVE BEE'S. MY NEXT STEPS IS TO SEEK RESOLUTION IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT.
