This Daikin multi air conditioning and heating system was installed by Brenneman Heating & Air Conditioning, **** *** ******* ************ ** ***** during the month of March 2022 and was completed on March 29, 2022. Ownership was transferred to us on April 7, 2022, the date of final payment to the main contractor and builder ***** Home Construction Services, LLC. The multi system consists of two inside head units and one outside unit. Warranty registration was completed upon ownership acceptance. This system was to provide heat and air conditioning to the garage and adjacent woodshop. Due to the loss of heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer, I have lost many days of use and my work is not being completed in a timely manner. According to Daikin, the minimum length of warranty is at least five years. In the two years and three months since the system was installed, it has experienced at least eight instances of failure during both hot and cold weather months requiring the installing contractor to return to troubleshoot/repair system leaks and in one case, replace all the electrical circuit boards. After only a month, the system is again inoperative. I reported the failure to Brenneman Heating & Air Conditioning but didn’t hear any response until a week later when I made another call. I was then told he could not come to my residence for another week and a half due to “working another job”. In my opinion, it seems as though the problem has become a low priority for Brenneman's. Brenneman has told me that they are losing money having to make numerous repeat service calls to seemingly repair the same problems all over again. In my opinion, it appears as though they are reluctant to aggressively troubleshoot and repair these repeated system failures. I've made the suggestion to replace the entire system but did not receive a response on this.Business response

Brrenneman Heating & Air Conditioning installed a Daikin 17 seer indoor/outdoor unit in what was referred to as a hobby workshop for ***** Home construction, the estimate was given on January 4, 2022 for $6,267.21 and was installed March 30,2024.
The warranties that were given 12 years on parts from manufacturer year of free service from Brenneman Heating and A/C, all permits and inspections were done after installation, we have gone above and beyond for the Moore's., we did have to go back several times due to a leak somewhere, which was difficult to determine, but we charged them nothing, we honored our service long after 2023, the leak finally got large enough to determine one of nails from the sheet rock had pierced the 410A line and was allowing the leak. The builders had to come out and rip out the wall so the line could be repaired, at which point the leak was repaired and the unit ran fine, I might add we would make appointments with the Moore's to get in, call before we went and they still were not there, *** ***** finally gave us a cell number to reach them, stating they were not really checking messages on other phone. In April of 2024. Mr Moore called and said it was not working we went out and circuit board was blown, again we did not charge them, we ordered the circuit board under warranty installed it, still no charge and ate the cost of shipping ourselves, after installing it the Mr Moore informed installer there had been a power surge and it had stopped working, no warranty would have covered that had we known. The unit worked fine until June, when he called I spoke to him and told him I would let him know, Mr Brenneman returned a call to him and told *** ***** we would be out and when, He filed this complaint the day before we were to be there, he also filed another complaint because we didn't come, I am even shocked he would have expected u to be there after that. He did call a 2nd time, left a message threaten us and a call again was returned by us after that. We have gone above and beyond as I have said and figured at this point he could call someone else and pay them. We are sorry, we try to treat all of our customers well and pride ourselves on our service and reputation.
I might add, he has called ***** and told them if we didn't replace it he was going to sue, also it was explained to him numerus times in full, that we couldn't just replace it that the manufacturer was the only one who could decide that and they determined no need was seen for this.
