We bought a portable dishwasher from Buy Rite Appliances Dayton on June 2nd. We had them deliver. We ran the dishwasher twice, both times it leaked. We contacted Buy Rite for the 30 day guarantee. We were told multiple time that the issues would be resolved, and they would replace the portable dishwasher when one was available. After three weeks of waiting to hear from them, while calling weekly, I finally got an agreement to fix it. We were told the manufacturer no longer makes the parts, so we could get our money back. Since we had it delivered, they agreed to come pick it up. After having our calls ignored for an additional week, and passing the scheduled time that they would pick up. We returned the dishwasher ourselves, however we were told they do not have the money to pay us our refund due to it being their slow period. So now they have the dishwasher in their possession, their phones aren't working and we have not gotten a refund or a status update. The owner has been quick to avoid our calls and requests for a call back. We have been there in person multiple times, since the phone isn't an option. They have refused to refund to the card, write a check or give us cash. When the person working calls the owner, she never answers to continue avoiding us at all costs. We'd like our money back, including the delivery fee since we had to get it back to them ourselves.Initial Complaint

I purchased a Maytag refridgerator on 7/23/2022 from this company for $320 cash. My receipt said 30 day warranty. August 15th I called the business because the refridgerator stopped cooling. Their repair guy (***) came out to work on it and said normaly he runs the refridgerators a week before putting them on the floor but the store had put this one on the floor 3 days after repair. He worked on the refridgerator and named a few things that was not working right. On 8/26/2022 he had to return because the refridgerator stopped cooling again and discovered that some wires inside the unit were not even connected, so he spliced the wires together and said call if anymore problems that he would replace some part by the motor. On 9/18/2022 I returned home from vacation and as soon as I walked in the door there was odor in the house from the refridgerator stopped working and the meats had spoiled from being thawed. I called Buy Rite on Monday left a voice message but no one returned my call. I called again on Wednesday and the lady who sold me the refridgerator said my warranty was up but the repair guy said he would fix it. I talked with ***, he said the only appointment he had was Saturday 9/24/2022 at 2:00PM. Saturday came *** never showed up, I waited until 4:00PM then called with no answer or return call from the repair guy (***). I have lost over $300 in food I have had to throw out .
