This company installed a new roof on an apartment building in 2018 with a stated 45 year manufacturer warranty and a 15 year labor warranty. A few months ago my tenant noticed that his kitchen ceiling was falling in. Upon further inspection I noticed that in the attic there was water leaking from the roof. I called American Siding and could not get any response. I decided to go to company location and they told me that would they would be out the following Monday to look at the roof........that was 6 or 7 weeks ago (approximately) and still no show. Meanwhile my tenant ceiling is getting worse. Who will pay for the ceiling repair while your roof is continuing to leak? I'm sure you're not willing to pay for the damages caused by the roof leaking. I can't even get you to come look at the roof. I have called several times and have been told that someone would be getting back with me ASAP and all I get is (crickets) which means "nothing" My question to the company is why when I'm paying all that money to have the roof installed they are very reliable, ready and willing to do the job? So eager. But, after the money is paid why do I have to continue to keep calling and calling and no one shows up? Is this the way that you run your business? Can I please get someone to fix my roof without having to contact BBB. My time is very valuable and I do not appreciate having to spend so much effort on this matter.

I was locked out of my original email here for BBB, which is why it took so long to respond just now seeing this 10/11/2024. Now email is updated and I’m responding. This was a rental and it did take few to get back to ****** which i did apologise to him for. Went to his tenants unit and there is no leaking from the roof, it has no vents and looks like its just spots all over the ceiling from cooking in the kitchen with no exhaust and or smoking. No water damage whatsoever. The tenant said there was another company that looked at it and said the same thing , that it was not a roof issue. You can look at our record for the past 20 years and can tell that this is not the way we do business. Like i said it was a miscommunication on my end. Corrected.
