2 weeks ago, new water meter was installed. Yesterday, 3/24/2022 I received a bill for services greater than 365 days old. Water Department associate stated that the billing was placed for actual reading, as water meter was not accurately working and that I received estimated billing for last 2 years. My complaint involves two aspects; 1.) How am I to be assured that these " new" readings are accurate if the meter was not working properly and am not expected to pay greater $700 in previous billing, and 2.) Under revised Code 4933.28 - it states that utilities can not be billed for greater than 365 days prior - and the Municipality of Ayersville is attempting to recoup costs from previous 2 yearsBusiness response
