On 8/26/2024 at approximately 7:00 pm I contacted Lrd Mobile RV to see if they were available to change a tire on our RV after we had a blowout on Interstate 71. Approximately an hour later he showed up, but did not have the correct tools with him to change the tire. Approximately 30 minutes later a woman showed up with the needed tools. After the tire was changed, I was told I had to pay them $572.00 for a simple tire change using our spare. I was shocked at the amount, and informed the woman, who never identified herself, that at no time were we informed we would be charged for a two-hour minimum for approximately 10 minutes of work. In fact, this was our second tire blowout of the day, and earlier in the day we were charged nearly $400 less and it included selling us a used tire. We were not given a choice but to pay the amount since their two vehicles were blocking us in and we could not leave without paying the $572. They refused to take a credit card and stated we could only pay with cash or Venmo. We were still three hours away from home at that point, and after having two flat tires in one day we needed to leave. This amount was extortion. I believe they were owed money for the work he completed, but certainly NOT $572. I would like a refund of $400, which I believe to be a fair amount.Initial Complaint

We had an urgent need to get our RV repaired because we couldnt get the slide to work. We made several attempts to get someone ver to help us. LRD said they could do it and we disengaged with others we were talking to. We sent them pictures and videos of the issue to help root cause the problem. We sent them the address where the camper was as well. They told us they could come fix it next day but we had to pay for a 2hour service call fee up front. That fee was $550, and we paid it on 7/22/2024 via *****. The next day I hadnt heard from them and had to follow up several times. They kept making excuses for why they werent there to fix it. First it was due to another job, then it was because she needed to make ******* lunch, than it was because she had to take her kid to the ** so ******* had to stay with the other child. The entire time I was following up with them because they were not communicating with me. I was relentless and he finally got there at 7pm. He was there for ***** minutes and could not fix it. He said he didnt even know how to get to the motor to repair it. He left and offered no refund. He clearly had no idea how to do this. We found someone else to do it 2 days later and that guy fixed it in 3 hours. I feel like they used our vulnerability and took advantage of us. It seems like this repair was out of their experience level but they have offered no refund for not doing anything but causing me stress all day long.Initial Complaint

Stole money and products. Did NOT finish jobs promised. Harassed me when my partner and I posted our review. Took 3 weeks to repair water lines in an RV. Had an expert plumber tell me it should take about a week with one qualified person. They are very dishonest people that will do anything to lie and cheat you so they can survive amd you can suffer. Things in the beginning were okay, but quickly started to notice what kind of business they were running. Haven't posted since then because he knew where I lived before and would've easily shown up and tried to start something. That is scary to me. I just now felt safe enough to report.Customer response

the business owner is one who shows up unannounced and cannot be trusted with his carrying his guns and knives which he loved to use to threaten with very unpredictable mood changes and violence, not just threats; please call for further clarification from Zach - the time limit has expired and he wants to know what other steps the BBB may offer such as remediation or arbitration for a solution
