I am having trouble with next gen automotive warranty in Dublin Ohio. It was suggested by agent on the phone to file two separate complaints one on ********* Chevrolet and one on the warranty company attached to their cars.

After my car has been in the shop for a total of a month and a half between Infiniti and ********* Chevrolet it’s suggested by the mechanic I need a new engine but the warranty doesn’t wanna cover it. They only wanna fix the low end part of the engine. Which is the bearing that was “broken” , “disintegrated” leaving metal in oil pan and who knows where else. They simply told me the car had been operating that way for some time which was not the case. I asked for cheaper solutions and was told to tell mechanic to just fix the part the warranty is willing to fix but he refused. Stating it would make ********* liable for parts and work they know are going to have me right back in the shop.  We reached out to them they didn’t answer and vice versa we’re waiting to hear back from them is what they each tell me.

Now, after so long, what should have been a deductible on a warranty has turned in $3,650.00 out the door. After a month and a half of this situation I can’t fit everything into the box . But it’s been a non stop back and forth blame fest between the two parties.

      Business response

      05/15/2024

Dear *** **** *******, as a member of the Premier Dealer Services legal department I have been asked to respond to your letter of inquiry dated May 9, 2024 that was originally sent to the attention of Mr. K**** M********. Mr. ********* purchased a Nextgen Vehicle Service Contract from M******** Chevrolet (“Service Contract”), which is an agreement between the Mr. ********* and Nextgen Protection Products, Inc. Premier is not a party to the Service Contract but does serve in its capacity as the administrator. After a careful review of your correspondence and the claim in question, it would appear that the complaint has been successfully resolved as of the date of this response. A complete motor replacement was approved after a re-evaluation of the claim, this was then discussed with Mr. *********. Thank you.
