On 12/01/2021 CASH1 took $306.00 out of my bank account without my permission. They obtained my Investment Debit card illegally which is wire fraud. I don't know how they got it, because I am disabled with PTSD, major depressive order, anxiety and OCD due to being held captive in India for 2 years, plus I had COVID. My sister took care of my bills at that time, not me. I can not believe they are not reversing the charge of $306.00, my rent will bounce, and other bills, resulting in many insufficient funds, yet they have absolutely no empathy and do not care. Shameful.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the complaint filed by ****** *******r (Complainant). Buckeye Check Cashing of California, LLC DBA Cash 1, a member of the Community Choice Financial® family of brands, appreciates the role of the Better Business Bureau in resolving consumer concerns. We are happy to provide this response.
To summarize, the Complainant claims on December 1, 2021, Cash 1 illegally used their Investment debit card, committing wire fraud, to debit $306.00 from their bank account without permission. The Complainant alleges Cash 1 will not reverse the charge which will cause their other bills to not clear their account. The Complainant is requesting a billing adjustment.
A search of our records did not reveal the Complainant ever having been a customer of Cash 1. Furthermore, we were unable to locate any debit transaction conducted by Cash 1 for $306.00 on or around the date stated in the complaint. We were also unable to locate any previous request for a refund or reversal that they are claiming Cash 1 is refusing provide. It appears this complaint was directed to us by mistake. If the Complainant has documentation from Cash 1 or proof of the transaction allegedly conducted by Cash 1, we ask they provide this documentation so we may further investigate.
