Went in to purchase 2 bottles of water. One was Smart Water and the other was Fiji Water. When I selected my water I selected it due to the advertised price of $1.99. I then proceeded to the register and they started ringing up my purchase. The total was $5.78. I asked how much was the water because it was much higher than what I expected. The smart water rang up $2.39 and the Figi water rang up $3.39. Considerably higher than the advertised price. When I brought it to the clerks attention he came out from behind the counter and went to the cooler. I followed him to ensure he saw the price that was posted. He stated that it wasn’t supposed to be there and pulled the advertisement off and went back to the register. He stated again that the total was $5.78. I told him that was not what he had advertised and that he should honor the price. He said he could not change it but I could speak to the manager about it. I asked if the manager was available he said no and did not give me a name. The other clerk said to just give him the water but I said I did not expect it free and only wanted the advertised price. I then said that I would pay the $5.78 price and just come in the next day to see the manager. I paid and then left mad about the whole situation. I took pictures of the advertised price and kept my receipt. The next day I returned to the store located outside of my neighborhood to speak to the manager. I waited patiently for about 10 minutes for the store clerk to get caught up before asking for the manager. He stated that she was not available. I asked when she would be in again and he said he did not know but said he could give me her name and telephone number. (****** ***********). I reached out to ****** and it went straight to voicemail. I went through the entire issue on her voicemail. No return call from ******. I returned to the store the next day and was told by the cashier that they would not serve me anymore. Not sure what I did to warrant this…………

In the matter of Mr. *****, there seems to be some missing information as to why the determination to refuse service to him. Yes he picked out Fiji and Smart water. Yes there was a “sale” tag present for a lesser price. However the sale price had been hanging there erroneously and was for a different product brand and different size water.

Once the water was rang up, Mr. ***** became verbally combative and asked y clerk :What are you ******* stupid?”. The clerks then offered him the product to appease the Mr. ***** but he continued to be abusive and disruptive in the checkout, line. Other customers were present in. the store as well as waiting to checkout.

We feel we did everything in our power to do the right thing by offering the waters free of charge, and he declined them. A refund is not warranted at this point.

He is not banned due to the water issue, he is banned due to his actions, in the checkout line, the name calling and abusive reaction he presented. My clerks are not there for him to abuse.
