On Jan 29, 23 my Fiancé, ****** *******, my mother, ***** & I spoke to Joshua J**** on a conference call. We discussed the date of the Wedding, NOV 11, 2023 and all we would want throughout the night by the DJ we hire. We discussed how many hours we wanted, (from 5pm - 10pm), what type of Lighting he would use, the style of music, and what would happen if he was unable to perform. He reassured us that he would have a backup D.J. for us. We asked if there would be a problem driving to ******** **, from ******** **, and he stated it would not be a problem. We discussed the price and he stated he needed a deposit of $572.00 to hold our wedding date of November 11, 2023, and I paid on January 29, 2023. On August 10th, 2023, I received an e-mail discussing a wedding he had cancelled (day of the wedding event) and discussing how he was changing his company from Premier Sound & lighting to ARCH. He was essentially stating he was changing the name because of the negative back-lash he was receiving from the “cancellation” and reviews online. The e-mail stated he would be in contact with me. I made a phone call to him the following day, and left a Voice mail. I received no response. At this time I became aware of other brides on the "********* **** WEDDING PAGE" On ******** that have encountered scamming issues with him. It was also brought to my attention then at the time he made the contract with me, that he was only 17 years old and was still in high school. He misrepresented himself during our conference call and saying he has been a professional for years. We then discovered the company belonged to his father, who had passed away. We made further attempts to Contact him with no response. Our calls go straight to voicemail. His website is no longer active: (****************). He will not respond to text messages.
