I needed my heater core flushed, i had no heat. They told me they flushed it and I had better heat. The heat was no better after paying 389.42. Manager told me I needed a new heater core. I argued about paying almost 400 dollars without accomplishing anything. I took it to ***** **** ****** , they actually had the right equipment and I had heat galore after them cleaning heater core. That cost 160.55. I asked ash automotive to refund the 160.55. They said no. They tried to flush heater core with a garden hose without unhooking both lines to flush it ( per ***). It's impossible to flush just the heater core without unhooking both lines. There answer was I needed a new heater core for over 1300 dollars. It was fixed completely for 160.44Customer response

On 8/18/23 I took my car to multiple mechanics for a coolant leak. Every single one told me the same thing, and that was it was the thermostat housing unit. Nothing else. Ash had the cheapest price, so I agreed to let them fix it. My car was ready for pick up the next day. The day after I picked my car up from Ash, I realized my car was leaking coolant again but at a fast rate. This was a Saturday and they were closed. I was without a car the entire weekend. Monday morning I took the car back to Ash and explained the situation. The mechanic told me I was lying seeing how he had filled the coolant up Friday morning. I popped my hood and showed him how it was completely empty and showed him where it was leaking from. He then said, he must’ve missed something and asked to keep my car for a few hours. Later that day he called stating there was now a hole in my radiator and told me the damages would be $900 plus dollars. I asked why wasn’t this in the diagnostic when I originally brung my vehicle in and he said he didn’t know. He didn’t see it. I took my vehicle to multiple mechanics after and they all advised me that when they were replacing my thermostat housing unit, while hooking it up to my radiator they cracked it. They put the hose on too tight causing pressure to build up and the radiator cracking. Every mechanic all said nothing at all was wrong with my radiator prior to ash fixing the housing unit. They refuse to take responsibility for damaging my vehicle and say it is a simple mistake that they missed. It is leaking profoundly, therefore I know it was nothing that could be missed.Business response

The procedure for the repair performed didn't require the removal of a hose from the radiator or any contact with the radiator. The repair made corrected the problem the customer had that she stated every mechanic mentioned was the problem.
