Let’s start at the beginning the purchase and shipping of the item went very smooth. Item actually shipped and received by my FFL very fast. Actually within days. But there was a problem picking the item up on my end because of an invoice problem all totally my fault. This actually caused the item to be shipped back to the seller. Now this is where the “spotty” communication and no communication at all comes into play. She it took the seller several days just to send the shipping labels and to even respond to sending the shipping labels. Next I’ve sent several emails about re purchasing the item and also inquiring about other items. That email was sent last week , still no response also I sent an email just asking about my refund process also last week no response. This comes as a let down to me because usually I do my homework before buying anything but this time I did not. Shame on me. I’m definitely coming to BBB before purchasing anything from that site again. So here it is weeks later and no communication as to my refund status or nothing !! I’m not sure why it’s so hard to take care of the customer!? I mean don’t you want to make money and build relationships??? But I guarantee I’ll get a response now. When you read this buddy , you have my email don’t waste my time with a dry apology. Just send my refund and if you have already just simply let me know when to expect it ! Once again we are faced with a customer attempting an illicit activity and using your service when we would not bow to them to intimidate us. The customer attempted an Illegal straw purchase of a firearm. He used one name to purchase the firearm and then wanted us to change the name on the paperwork for the pickup. This is highly illegal and we refused to take a part. It took several days for the firearm to be returned to us, but once received, the refund was processed. The customer seems to not realize that this process takes several daysInitial Complaint

I purchased a firearm from this company June 2022, and its Almost Aug 2022. I have left at lease 6 voice messages and 6 or 7 emails. I got 1 email in July informing me that it would be shipped to me in a week. well again its several weeks. I have continued to call and leave message and email. Very strong lack of communication. I would like the firearm I ordered, and a extra magazine for the trouble and lack of customer respect. I would like for the owner or someone to reach out to me and let me know something STAT !!! this week this is very disappointing, I wanted to cancel but, I didn't know if its in route so I have waited... I would like the proper customer service we all desire..Business response

Weve responded to multiple inquiries from this customer. the order was shipped and delivered two weeks ago. The tracking was emailed. Her online guest account she has access to was updated. We sent an additional email advising it had been delivered. Delivery has been confirmed with the receiving FFL dealer. All the customer needs to do is to go tot the receiving dealer she chose and fill out the required ATF paperwork for the transfer.Initial Complaint

Placed online order with Keely Arms on their website on April 23, 2022. Two weeks later, on May 6, 2022, Tried calling customer service multiple times but no one answered. Next day, on May 7, used their "Contact Us" on their website to inquired about the status of the order. Two days later, on May 9, received a response "The order was set to drop ship from our distributor. If you do not wish to wait, we cancel and refund the order". Decided to give it more time. After reviewing BBB complaints on Keely Arms and seeing similar pattern of poor customer treatment and realizing that I am dealing with a potential bad-faith merchant, I emailed them via "Contact Us" to request cancellation and refund. No response to date. I have also disputed the charge with my credit card company today.Business response

We never received the customer request for a the cancellation and refund. Had we received it, we gladly would have cancelled the order. The order has now been cancelled and refundedCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because:This business is responding (cancelled /refunded) because I contacted BBB and disputed the charges with my credit company. As evidenced by other complaints, this business is not acting in good faith and not being transparent. The only reason I had a record of my first written communication with them is that they responded. When they do not respond, there is no record because their "Contact Us" system is web-based and internal to them. They did receive my first inquiry, why not the 2nd?
At this point, this case can be closed. Thank you BBB for your assistance.
