We contacted Schmucker's Roofing for an estimate after a tree fell on our home. We then contracted with them for a new roof. USAA is the insurance for our home they paid the claim for the roof replacement service.A second roof was completed after the first leaked- also, they failed to complete steps mentioned in the contract on the first roof.Roof one and two were completed early in 2022. Just before Thanksgiving 2022 the roof began to leak again.I emailed Schmucker's about the current leak. They sent out employees to tighten the screws and to look for reasons for the leak. It is 6 days before Christmas and I have muddy water leaking down my wall(s). **** the owner of the company has told my husband that he is meeting here with an engineer and they never showed last week. No one has showed up here and frankly I have zero faith they will.Business response

We did the roof replacement on March *****th 2022.
Crew was scheduled back out on march 29th, 2022 in order to properly install as some things were missed on the work order.
One of our guys stopped by April 5th and set can lighting in properly as they were touching insulation prior.
From April 01, 2022 - November 22, 2022 there were Xero leaks in the roof despite ********* aquiring 2'' - 3'' of rainfall per month throughout this time.
Homeowner reached out to us November 23, 2022 (day before thanksgiving) near end of business day to let us know there is water dripping down the wall and they needed immediate help to remedy.
We sent 2 employees out right away on November 23, 2022 to see what could be happening, upon arrival the homeowner would not allow us to be on the roof due to snow cover. Everything was inspected and documented and we set a date to return on November 29th, 2022 since the weather was going to clear up.
Two employees went up November 29, 2022 to get up on the roof. All the screws were checked for proper seating along with all roofing materials installed correctly and completely.
Next step was to hire a 3rd party inspector who specializes in ventilation for homes so we can determine if this is the case since it seems to be condensation and dripping inside, Which would make sense since all the rainstorms throughout the year and fall there were no leaks accept when weather changed. We did not know a date the inspector was available and had to wait for him to get back to us to schedule the day. There was never a specific day given since we didn't have one due to inspectors schedule outside of our control.
We got a scheduled date to be there on December 27, 2022. Everything was inspected and also checked with thermal heating gun for heat loss to determine ifi we were in fact experiencing condensation, soffit venting was inspected and from here the inspector has to do the math with square footage of the home, roof areas, intake vents and exhaust vents to determine the proper amount for the home so this can be narrowed down to a solution.
We did find out there was condensation on the lower side of the ventilation baffles when we removed a can light from the ceiling inside.
We do not have a date to go back out since the roof needs to be clear, and we need a temperature drop of 20 degrees in a rather quick manner so we can remove a roof panel and determine if the roof deck is wet or there is condensation in between insulation and the baffles.
