I got help from a community action Resource Center for the pandemic in Columbus Ohio their address is 711 Southwood Avenue and Tuffy and impact agreed Tuffy agreed to do the work and impact agreed to pay for the services I was supposed to be in getting 4992.04 worth of work done they end up taking it down to like 46 because of tax exempt they don't do taxes so I took my car there it's supposed to be coils plugs rebuild the cluster suspension arm control joint assembly they did the coils it took me a while for them to do that I got emails going back and forth and txts with them the manager at Tuffy named Mike also just as well as a customer service provider named ***** ****** she's the one I was talking to and she got frustrated and just stop helping me and talking to me I have text pretty much stating that too and they did not do the suspension all and ball joints I think they did the brakes I'm not sure they put a cluster in that got 53,000 on it when I gave him my truck my truck had 174,000 on it he told me it'll be okay for when i go to sell it he said don't say nothing I said no you can't do that so that's why I'm reporting things to the Better Business Bureau I have all my documentations paperwork emails texts so if there's anything I'm leaving out please feel free to contact me and I will be uploading all documents when Mike put the cluster in I noticed it had 53,000 on it I supposed to had 174,000 I called him and let him know cuz he kept telling me that they don't sell them no more they discontinued they don't have them in stock he told me that the tail light lens he just throw in he didn't charge me for that that was a lie he's supposed to change my spark plugs which he did not do there was chattering on my truck when I picked it up but it wasn't when I dropped it off he told me to listen to this noise when I back up but didn't know it happened so he tried to make it seem like he was showing me the backup on the mirror but as I got home I noticed itBusiness response

*Impact is the 3rd party company that contracted us to do the work. Because they approved the work and they paid us, they are our customer, not Mr. ******. We ONLY performed the work approved by them. If it wasn’t authorized by Impact, it wasn’t done. Any time we tried to reach out to Impact they would not return our calls.
We do consider this matter closed, as we had already explained this to Mr. ******, Impact is the company that contracted us to do any work and they have not reached out to us in any fashion. We Have gone above and beyond to help Mr. ******, including doing some work at cost to the company.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I'm rejecting this complaint because I have paperwork stating showing what they supposed to be doing rather there's a third party or not it doesn't give you the right not to do the work on someone's car or truck just because someone else paid for it if it's paid for by someone that makes it liable for you guys to do the work not that you don't do the work just because someone else paid for it I have all emails texts from Mike which is the manager I have emails from customer service and no they did not try to help me they went against what I was talking about now they want to act like they're trying to help me and they are not if they was trying to help me they would just look at both estimates the one that they signed and the one that they did to work and hand me that was not supposed to be done the one that they sign is the one that is supposed to be doing so what's so hard about that they just don't want to do the work that they responsible for because they did the work that they was not supposed to be doing and it then reached a budget I don't have nothing to do with that they should have contact me and let me know if they was going to do some work on my car and them stating that they did work on my car on the company's behalf yeah that's what he told me was he put tail light in and things like that at the company's cost which one I looked on an estimate a totaled up and the total so how was it extra these people as full of it and somebody needs to do something about it and I do need some help because I'm tired of it it's been going on since September October and here it is May it doesn't make no sense almost a whole year

Took my car to Tuffy on October 18th to have an issue fixed that I’ve been dealing with. I received an estimate and phone call from Tuffy the next day on October 19th. **** is the person I spoke with, we we’re going over the estimate and he was telling me that the estimate is the worse case scenario but if they were fix this, my car would be ok. I asked so my car would be good just for some assurance and he said yes my car will be good. I picked my car later that day around 4:30-5:00pm, the total cost of service was $750. I drove my car to work, I work from 7:00pm-5:30am and ended up staying til 6:20am. Went to my car, started it up and let it run for a couple minutes to get it warm, then I drove 2 blocks and my car cut off me. Called Tuffy later in the morning but **** wasn’t there, so I ended up having my car towed to Tuffy. The next day on October 21st, I received an estimate and phone call from ****, but this estimate had that I needed a Fuel Injector Harness, so my sister wanted to speak to him. On October 22nd, My sister and I went to Tuffy and spoke with **** with about the car, he told me that is was my ignition coil wasn’t installed properly and another piece had broken. Car started up, drove it across the street and my battery died. **** from Tuffy came and used his battery charger to jump my car. I drove my car home and was frequently starting it up throughout day. On Sunday October 23rd, went to start my car and it cut right back off…tried to jump it and that didn’t work. I reached out to **** and he didn’t respond, tried again the next day and the same results happened and I also reached out to **** again and no response. I called Tuffy on Tuesday October 25th and spoke with ****, he said for me to send him my address and he was gonna come by and see about my car, which never happenedBusiness response

Hello,
We had this customers vehicle towed into our shop today(11/3/22) at no cost to him. Once on site, we were able to rectify the issue. This complaint has been taken care of in house, and requires no further action. Thank you.
