I put a $925 security deposit down on a property last June. I fulfilled my lease and bought a property and moved out last month. I finally received my deposit refund only to find the company docked my over $500. $37 for a filter that was sitting there brand new that I had bought and left and just forgot to insert. $125 for a broken garage light (that was not broken and they will not provide proof of). $5 for a blown porch bulb (which was legit, and further proof the garage light wasn't broken as that was the light we were using to load at night) $120 to weed and mulch a flower bed, (which was completed by my landlord but somehow they can still charge me). $100 to clean carpets (which they charged the landlord for too) $90 for two window blinds (This one I understand since, there were two blinds that were broken I forgot to replace). $50 to move a garage bench to the other side of the room, petty, but fine. When I moved out, the owners and the new tenants used the word "immaculate" multiple times. The landlord even contacted KW Consultants and questioned all of this and they basically said, tough. If they're willing to blatantly do this to me, how many other people have they screwed over harder and gotten away with it?

First, I just wanna clarify that I didn't get a refund from the company. I got it from the owner of the property. I don't want anything from them because all I've gotten from them was treated like garbage. I just want this complaint to be posted. So other people can have a reference. I don't want anything further from the company.
