I purchased a vehicle yesterday to be able to get back and forth to new job. Got the car home it started smoking. I will be taking the car back if they dont fix it I will leave it there. They are VERY DISHONEST. I would not reccomend buying a vehicle from here. You should do an investigation on this business and their business practices.Business response

first***** we are uncertain of precise nature of the issue.She purchased the 2004 ***** civic vin # ***************** on 08/10/2024 after she took the car for test drive and was there no issues and she decide to purchase this vehicle and she know all used vehicles sold AS IS but we are committed to providing excellent customer service and will do our best to assist our customers still i called her and text her too to see if anythings we can do to help and to address the problem i kindly request that she can bring the car to our shop at her earliest convenience and when i talked to her this morning she said she took the car to her mechanics . please feel free to call or text at anytime my cell Ali **********Customer response

I got my suv June 16 2023 then I had to bring it up there a week later because the brakes went bad They fix it then I told them it was driving funny like it wouldn’t drive it would take like 5 mins before it would drive off. So I got it towed there because I was scared to drive it they told me to come it after they had it for 10 days that there was nothing wrong with it then I had for another week then it stopped driving so I had to get it towed to a shop that they told me to take it too they had my suv since august 4 and I finally get a call saying my warranty was denied which I don’t understand at all but why did it take this long to tell me now I’m paying for a $400 car payment and can’t even drive my suv I only had it 2 months and really never drove itBusiness response

The vehicle was purchased as is but the owner chose to purchase a service contract through a third party. She brought the vehicle back for some maintenance items after purchase of the vehicle, at this point we noticed that the tires were different sizes. The vehicle was not sold with different tire sizes. She advised that she went to a local tire shop to replace the tires and we clearly told her that the sizing for the tires were wrong and she needed to fix the issue immediately to avoid any incoming issues. I feel as though this complaint should be taken up with the third party service contract- she should be requesting information from them to advise why her claim was denied.
Again, the vehicle is sold as is and the client purchased a service contract through a third party not affiliated with Southwest Auto Sales.
