My vacuum is under warranty. The handle was replaced last year, but it broke, again, a few weeks ago. It shattered and left pieces inside the wand. Electrolux sent a new wand and handle. Upon receipt, the new handle was partially broken and the new wand would not click into the power head. When that happens, it detaches from the wand as I vacuum every time I pull the handle/wand back. I called on 2/13/23. I was told they no longer have replacement power heads and would send me a new vacuum. I needed to follow the email instructions so it can be sent out to me. One of the items was they wanted the cord to be cut and take a picture of the cord cut. I sent everything on 2/13 except I said I would not cut the cord as I cannot go 2 weeks without a vacuum. I offered to send a picture of the cord after I receive the new vacuum. ******* responded on 2/15 insisting the cord needs to be cut. I responded 4 minutes after receiving her email and requested a supervisor and explained in more detail as to why I cannot go without a vacuum for that period of time. I received *******'s response 5 days later stating she was a supervisor and insisting she needs the picture of the cut cord. I responded, again, and asked for her supervisor and said my next step would be to file a complaint with BBB. Four days later, no response. I called Electrolux today. *** talked to a supervisor who said they no longer make canister vacuums and they would send me a coupon for 40% off of a new vacuum. I reminded her I was told on 2/13 that I would receive a new vacuum. It's not my fault they're not making parts for vacuums still under warranty. I am under warranty and they need to abide by it. I had told *** that contacting BBB was my next course of action. She said she would contact another supervisor to call me who was not available at that time.Customer response
