Hired food truck/stand for event on 07/01/2023, and the vendor cancelled the event with no notice. The contracted service was not fulfilled, and they refuse to actually refund us after promising to do so multiple times. We sent them $500.00 up front followed by $175.00, as the business kept contacting us with issues/complaints. They are now telling us multiple different dates/promises for our refund, but everything they have told us thus far is lies. They are also claiming that we've harrassed and threatened them, but this is not true. We have proof of all contact with this business and their lies they've told. We just want our $675.00 back.Business response

Hello, I am working to refund their $675.00 as soon as possible. I have been in communication with **** and updating her. Do not have a definite date, but I am hoping to get it all resolved asap.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.We have now received threats via text from the husband of the business owner. We have not received any service at this point, and we are beginning to fear for our own safety. We did not respond to the husband’s texts, and we have never once made threats or done anything unethical.
Attached screenshot shows business stating they processed refund on 07/02/2023.

Per phone call with customer:
We contacted ***** (payment processing company) and as of 8/8/2023, ***** refunded our money.
