      Workout Anytime in Heath, Ohio continues billing my card account after I cancelled the membership and was told I would not be billed anymore. My wife had a membership at this gym but because of health problems I cancelled it in September 2021. I called and talked to a man who assured me it was cancelled and I would not be billed any longer. Since then they have charged me $10.73 every month and a larger charge of $41.93 around February 2022. I filed disputes with my credit card company but they turned them all down because Workout Anytime send them the original membership papers saying they had the right to charge me. They have not sent me any kind of papers showing I cancelled this even after I have talked to them several times. This place is scamming people by continuing to charge peoples accounts after the memberships have been cancelled.

      I have researched Jeralyn's account and found that it was a Get-Fit membership, which is a 1-year contract that renews itself each year. The cancelation process is actually done by the members through our app/ portal. Unfortunately, when a member signs up online they miss that important part.  I really don't understand why anyone at the club would have told you that the account was cancelled back in September. Typically, when a member decides to cancel a Get-Fit membership we suggest a buyout option, which will eliminate the contract. 
      Nonetheless, I understand your frustration and want to help you eliminate the membership, which has renewed itself for another year back in March. I will make some calls and get the membership cancelled for you as of today, no additional fees will be charged, and no buyout will be required from you. Unfortunately I am not able to refund anything as the contract was signed and acknowledged by the member, (see attached).
      I do apologize for any misunderstanding, and hope that my actions to get this membership cancelled for you satisfies your expectations.
