Awful. We had them diagnose an ** leak. In and out of our house in less than 5 minutes. What the technician told us it needed - a drip pan - was not at all what the final estimate was for - a new ** coil. Our home warranty was covering the cost of the new ** coil and our "extra" charges by Foxcroft were $500 for duct work modification, $500 for some other modification, $300 for new green hose and $3000 for freon for a total of $4300. We called a different HV** servicer on our own dime and they said the ** wasn't the issue the leak was coming from an issue with the furnace. Wow. What shoddy diagnosis.

I would not even give them 1 star. The receptionist is absolutely rude, hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor. They have ZERO communication with you, they make you do their work for them. We have gone almost 2 weeks now with NO a/c and have 4 kids 1 who has severe allergies and asthma and was almost admitted into the hospital due to the heat and they still have yet to fix our A/C. I will and am contacting my attorney TODAY for this matter. Foxcroft is a joke, has no customer service skills and will hang up on you at any given moment for any reason. Again recap I will NEVER use foxcroft again, I will be contacting my attorney today who is now the prosecutor as well for out local courts, and I will be sending them a bill for our daughters hospital bills!!!!!

After calling FoxCroft a couple times and my Insurance Im getting the runaround about the parts have been ordered so Im having to stay at my Moms house, I ordered the parts from ****** ****** got the parts the next day and fixed it myself. I will now cancel my Ins and I hope to never hear from your service again

We are sorry for your frustration. We don't purchase parts from ebay/amazon/"repair clinic" which is where it appears the parts had possibly been ordered from and the reason we had found them failed. We had ordered these parts from a licensed York supplier. We wish you the best of luck using these non recognized non accredited parts.

03/18/2024 I am so disappointed in the way this company treated me. I made a service request through my Home Warranty company 03.08.2024. They contacted them and they came out. I work out of town and could not make it there in time of their arrival so my wonderful neighbors who has a key to my home help me with allowing the technician to enter my home without me being present. My neighbor was there the whole entire time and watched the technician look over the furnace. The technician stated it was my flue pipe and he cut it, but stated he would have to get someone else out to finish the repairs, because he does not do that (CONFUSED). He not only cut my pipe but he left a mess all over the base of my furnace. Once he got done making his mess, he left. I waited for hours for hours to get a call to let me know the results of the findings of the furnace. I left a couple of messages for them to call me back. AS OF TODAY, I still have not gotten a call back from this company. So unprofessional, but that's not even the bulk of the story. I called my warranty and ask for a second opinion. They set an appointment with another company on 03.18.2024, they came out and bam...my furnace is fix and it was not the same issue that this company told me it was. My neighbor stated the technician was on the phone the whole time with another technique or supervisor, which led me to believe that the guy didn't know what he was doing in the first place. SHAME ON HOW DISHONEST PEOPLE ARE. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

We are sorry that the same day service we provided to you was not what you had been looking for. As for the issue found with your furnace, we had submitted a plan to your home warranty company same day on what we had recommended the resolution be. Unfortunately, your home warranty did not approve the recommendations we had given to them. With a home warranty, they decide coverage and decisions on repairs not us. We would recommend any questions or concerns on the decision to not allow for repairs be taken up with the home warranty company. Especially since they made the call with this repair.

I had this displeasure of using this company thru *** **** ********, When purchasing my home in June of 2023, during inspection I was told the fan wasn't properly working on the furnance, I contacted *** **** ******** in September of 2023 prior to the weather changing, live in Northern Ohio, technician arrives informs me that there is nothing wrong with the furnace it's working properly. October 30, 2023 NO HEAT, they come for the second visit, informed that the "switch" turned itself off?????, Technician tells me that he placed a piece of tape on this switch in case it would happen again, why would you not replace the switch, November 12, 2023, NO HEAT, I contacted HSA by email, phone and left 3 messages for Foxcroft who didn't contact me until end of day telling me that they could advise where this so called switch was, because they needed to run a systems test, didn't realize my furnace switch was NASA top secret information, it's now been 4 days still no heat, or contact. *** **** ******** is providing NOTHING but run around, and don't consider this an issue until the thermostat is showing 32 degrees outside. I could have contacted someone local and had the issue completed Monday, along without jumping thru hoops, being hung up on when requesting to speak to a supervisor, both companies should be shut down, for lack of service. I have asked to have someone else be sent to correct the ongoing issue, but I as the consumer can not do so. Buyer Beware of this Company

Foxcroft came out to my house TWICE around 2021 under a home warranty contract. The technician said it "should be fixed" the first time, if not call back. It wasn't fixed. The second time I paid the home warranty company AGAIN for a service call (to which the contractor gets paid for coming out no matter what), Foxcroft's HVAC guy told me that there was an incorrect fuse size (i wrote down exactly what he told me as he said it, and he seen me writing it as I wrote it). It broke down AGAIN. Third time I called my daughters HVAC guy and when he came out I showed him exactly what Foxcroft told me. He said the part Foxcroft was talking about (on my furnace that was already on the furnace when I bought this house) was CORRECT and that all my furnace needed was a very simply adjustment that needed NO PARTS AT ALL.....JUST AN ADJUSTMENT. He showed me the part FOXCROFT said was incorrect that WAS NOT and showed me EXACTLY what was wrong with my furnace (which was such a small adjustment that the guy only charged me for the call itself, which was only $5 more than what the home warranty company would charge me. He also said that Foxcroft's trained technicians should have known this. It would have been something they would check in their assessment. So, here's the way I see it: FOXCROFT got paid TWICE by the home warranty company (I dropped home warranty company because when I took it up with them, they didn't seem to care. Why would they??? They got paid TWICE from me. My furnace has not had one problem since I hired a REPUTABLE company to correct the problem. NOT ONCE! By the way....I am an older, single woman (obviously living alone. I made the mistake of letting the FOXCROFT technician know that). By the way.....FOXCROFT can respond to ANY of these complaints the way they want because there is no way for the complainant to respond back to their reply. Would I allow FOXCROFT in my home again????? H*LL NO!!!!! I see ABSOLUTELY no reason to trust them

We are sorry you feel this way but We are glad the furnace is now operational. Unfortunately since it is currently the year of 2023, a lot of time has passed since our last visit. Lots of run time and by the sounds of things, other companies looking at your system. Though we can't speak for this "reputable company", we really can't respond properly 2 years later without knowing all context. We wish you the best.

Through *** our relatively new (less than a year) split 115 v 12000 BTU was not cooling. *** only uses Foxcroft in this area. Service tech arrived, looked at outside unit said it was 8´ ft off ground and should be on ground. Never got ladder to check anything on unit. Came inside LOOKED at inside unit and say it needed to be replaced. OK give me an estimate to replace the unit. Rep said well, we don’t install 115 v units, only 220v. Amazing 100s of 115v splits available. Bottom line, they want to make big bunks. They said I needed to run 220 to the unit ( big bucks) and install a 220v unit ( big bucks). The estimate they gave to AMS is unknown but my cost was $3500+-. Lot of money to replace a $900 unit. AMS said they have no other option other than Foxcroft. IMHO UNIT PROBABLY ONLY NEEDED FREON, but they didn’t check. BE CAREFUL DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY.

We are sorry that the AC unit your handy man had purchased from **** ***** and installed ended up with a shorted control board and parts no longer available. Since you had decided to not go with an actual recognized appropriate mini split ac replacement through your home warranty in this situation, we wish you the best and hope you have better luck using a licensed HVAC company like us to repair/replace your AC minisplit vs a handy man/carpenter. That way the materials won't be discontinued like this **** ***** brand.

December 2022 my furnace went out. Foxcraft worked with my home warranty, attempted repair and when that failed, replaced a part, hoping to buy me a few more years with my furnace. Both times they came out quickly, communicated in advance their ETA, we're friendly, clean, professional, and readily showed me the mechanics of what they were doing and explained options. When the furnace needed replaced they hustled to get one in stock and updated me on the delivery status. They installed it during that brutal cold snap Christmas week when technicians could've been home rather than working ridiculous hours. The price was reasonable and again, they worked with my home warranty company for me. My house has a small maintenance closet with a furnace situated in a corner, making it difficult to access the slot for filter replacement. After a couple comfortable months of struggling with filters, I contacted them and they sent someone out to look at what could be done. The options weren't ideal, so someone else came from foxcraft and had a similar option in mind but supplies would be needed. No word back for a couple weeks so I called and they sent out someone who came up with a more feasible option and resolved the issue in less than an hour. I was not charged anything for the visits or repair/modification. Yes, I had to make a couple phone calls, and yes, there was not 100% satisfaction at the first visit or install but that's how home maintenance in general goes, and I do appreciate their desire to make things right for me.
