      The truck was in for ground effect lighting. The business needed an additional part and I ordered it with next day delivery. I was told to come in “any time” and it would be finished. The next day upon arrival I was harshly told they don’t have walk in. The I pointed out the staff member who had told me that information. I gave the parts to the manager and he rushed the job and the lights were not working properly but he told me to keeping working with them and they “should” work together. After trying for multiple times the lights are still not working together. I have contacted multiple other locations and have been told that the wiring was not done correctly so to get this fixed I will incur more costs. I feel all the labor costs should be refunded since I am going to pay more to get the lights fixed.

      The Customer brought items purchased off of amazon in for *** to inspect, the customer was notified at that time to order wire extensions due to installing them on a truck.
      The Customer was verbally notified that there was no warranty on customer supplied parts.
      Upon the initial install the Customer did not supply enough wiring to hook up the front underbody LEDs.
      When the customer picked up vehicle, lights were tested with the customer and all lights were working properly except for the LEDs under the front bumper, due to the fact that the customer did not supply the correct parts to finish the job.
      The Customer ordered in extensions off of amazon and brought back in to install and they had ordered in the wrong extensions.
      The Customer was shown the number of pins and what the connectors looked like on the wiring and reordered the extensions off of amazon.
      The Customer did stop in unannounced to have the extension installed and at that moment the technician that installed the lights originally was double booked. Later that day the customer was called back and brought back in the same day to where the Sales manager and the technician who originally installed the lights made the final connection with the extension supplied off Amazon.
      The connector on the extension has locking clips and can only be installed one direction. After making the final connection all of the previously install lights lit up the correct color and the one light that was connected last lit up a different color than all the others.
      The sales manager notified the customer of the problem and that the extension that was purchased must be wired differently than the others and was walked out and demonstrated to that effect.
      The lighting kit has a power and a ground that has to be hooked up and all the other components get connected in series. There is little to no chance that they could be installed incorrectly to cause this result.
      The customer was directed at that point to reach out to the manufacture of the parts that they supplied to inquire about a solution to the problem.
      Since the report to the BBB from the customer we have reached out and a message has been left to see if we can help them any further. No return call has been received. We are more than willing to inspect our work but as far as any defect with the lighting kit or in the wiring extension, our hands are tied due to the customer supplying the parts purchased from Amazon. Based upon what the issue actually is there could be additional parts cost and labor cost to rectify.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have not received any contact from this store or managment and the manufacturer has stated multiple times that the product was not installed correctly.  I feel like I am being taken advantage of because unlike the response stated I did not leave the business.  The part’s that were ordered on Amazon were the exact parts I was shown to order by the staff when they had told me to come back in as soon as I got the part.  I did not appreciate being treated poorly when I followed the directions I was given and I was treated as an inconvenience not a paying customer.
