Contract signed 3/21/22 w/ Two Women General Contractors (“TWGC”) to renovate master bath, demo began 3/16/22. Paid TWGC $30,000 in good faith; but project was faulty & requires full tear out & new contractor to complete it. We rec’d 2 expert opinions work wasn’t salvageable & most wasn’t up to code. Contract involved a full reno of bathroom; including demo & furnish/install new tile/shower system/vanity/tub/plumbing fixtures/drywall/paint/mirrors/closet door. Est. time was 2-3 weeks - not complete after 2 months. TWGC didn’t daily oversee work nor provide proper skilled workers for tile/drywall/plumbing. 4 different plumbers attempted work & the owner said she was “begging subs to come”. Plumbers worked late in the evening (midnight+) which we informed TWGC was unacceptable w/ 3 children causing disruption to our house. 3/4/22 - owner saw initial project & didn't set foot in the bathroom again until 5/2/22 after requests to review work. She agreed the quality was unacceptable/promised to fix the work. Communication/Punctuality was poor. She ordered fixtures that weren’t approved/made changes w/o approval, leading to delays. 5/9/22 she came on site & we listed issues/concerns. She stated her sub had never installed shower wall tile but thought “he could handle it” & said he had misled his experience w/ plumbing. She was disappointed/agreed things couldn’t stay “as is” & was “sorry”. After leaving, she changed her tune & began a series of insulting/degrading & threatening emails/calls. This stopped once we got an attorney involved & terminated the contract. Itemized statement of costs incurred/items was never rec’d as asked. Improper charges were never corrected on the invoice including credit/replacement for damaged items. We still don’t have a working master bath. Multiple contractors have provided bids & confirmed faulty work needs full tear out. TWGC has $30,000 of our money & hasn’t offered to return any of it. Estimated quote for tear out & re-work is $26,590.

Two Women General Contractors ("TWGC") entered into a contract with ******* ****** on 3/21/22 and ******* ****** signed her husband's name ****** to the document.   TWGC funded the project until ****** could pay the deposit of $9000.    ****** at no point paid TWGC $30,000 for the project.   The amount of the final bill did not pay TWGC in full and ******'s materials such as tile, a $7,500 vanity, tub, etc. in the funds paid to reimburse TWGC for those expenses.    In the contract that ****** signed and forged her husband's name, at the outset it explains the process and also that the carpenter on the project had a son with special needs and at times would be at the hospital, etc. or in general with family as they did not give his son much time.    ******* agreed to ****** working hours.    ****** new the realistic time line was not 2-3 weeks.   ****** would call everyday 5 min before someone was to show and ask where were they.....   The project was not finished.    ****** is claiming that the tile is unacceptable.   She claims 2 experts.   She claims faulty plumbing......What ****** was told that the tile must be preserved in the event any complaints or legal matters to arise out of HER BEING UPSET SHE CHOOSE A VANITY THAT DID NOT GO TO THE EDGE OF THE TILE ON THE WALL.    THE DESIGN WAS NEVER MEANT FOR THAT TO follow to the edge of the vanity.....hence she did not want to pay for the design.   ****** knows that her tiles selected are tiles that are hand made and no one tile is the same size.......3x6 tiles beveled.    ****** after **** was 1/2 way thru said "I WISH I NEVER HAD CHOOSEN THAT TILE".    I had warned her of the size in general and not meant for a full shower.    The night that the plumber came to plumb the bathroom......it was late and Ms. ****** was all happy to see such a nice young man and one that was a certified plumber.    This plumber I saw the next morning.    My plumber stayed until 3:00 a.m. as a matter of fact.    Pulled him from another job.    ******s husband I never saw.......My plumber upon seeing him at his home the next morning arrived with a bottle of ******** Alcohol asking him what was his favorite drink and that they would end up doing shots to finish the plumbing.    Needless to say the implication was there and the implication was never denied.   In fact, I was on a video call with the two of them and my partner was ****ding behind me looking at the bathroom and more importantly how ****** was looking in the background of the video.    I was very very upset that anyone and I mean anyone would hand a worker a bottle of liquor and send them home at 3:00 a.m. after partaking of alcohol.     Especially in light of the fact that she has children.     Moreover, when confronting ****** she became quite defensive and then the problems seemed to start.   for 2 mos solid ****** looked at that bathroom every day.    Every Day......but never said one negative......not one negative word about the product itself.    She agreed to ****** hours and she agreed to let the plumber work at night.     ****** called my plumber, *******, The next day and kept his number to call him directly after hours.     The shower door guy went to measure.    Left.....****** calls me an hour or so later and says call the glass company and tell them to change the measure to another figure.  That was not possible but ****** always wanted control.     Again the bathroom is to be preserved.    I repeatedly offered to extend the wall to her vanity as she wanted.   I never agreed to any tear out.   That was not an option as there is nothing to be torn out as the job was well done.      For someone as she may sound, myself and **** almost went over the bannister as her bannister is so loose I am surprised it held us.     The PROJECT WAS NOT FINISHED.   THE PROJECT SHE WANTED TO SEE MORE OF MY PLUMBER.  ****** ask my plumber if he could work on finishing the job for less money.     ******* replied  with a NO.     ****** wanted A DIFFERENT TILE AND ****** DID NOT ALLOW FOR A REDESIGN TO CARRY OVER TO HER VANITY.    This is her own choosing as she and my designer I have work with my clients from the tile shop, stood in her very own bathroom working the design details out as I was on another design for a kitchen.   ****** a former designer had made a mistake and now she wanted her bathroom to be redesigned at the cost of TWGC.    I am sorry but that is not how business is conducted.   Serving shots and sending home my plumber with ******l at 3:00 a.m. when he lives over an hour away.......was shameful and very irresponsible.    ****** put my own sobriety in harms way.    All attachments and photos will be supplied to the BBB.

      Hi *****
I was responding to your 2 separate correspondences from last week and when I went to do the second one, it said no action was required but I wanted to make sure you had pictures of our master bathroom.  You had asked for a punchlist of the work, the problems and what we are requesting to correct it.  I have not created a punchlist only because none of the finish work is salvageable -- the estimates we received (see info submitted earlier today) both require a complete tear out and we have engaged with one to begin the work in October that will involve a complete gutting of all of Two Women General Contractors work an that none of it will be salvaged.  I think the photos I've attached speak for themselves.  We are asking for a refund from Two Women General Contractors, the quality of work that was performed (and also left unfinished) & what we paid them for is completely unacceptable.

      Thank you,
      ******* ******
