On 8/16/21, there was an estimate which detailed a quote for a kitchen remodel, replace of patio door, replace kitchen door and install 1st floor bathroom. Initial visits and quote estimates were with owner Scott N****. When it came time for our selection meeting, Scott had covid so his son Steven N**** took over. When Steven sent over the final estimate, the estimate excluded items from the original estimate but stated they could be added on. During our selection meeting, I requested a kitchen that was centered around a rustic island that was in their show room. I requested a replica of the island and was told it was a custom built island and would have to be charged accordingly. My husband and I agreed. During the project, we had numerous of issues with our kitchen cabinets where they continuously had to be reordered. We received broken cabinets and/or wrong colored cabinets. Karshner advised they were going to continue to proceed with the cabinets we received in order to have the counter tops templated. We continuously questioned whether our island could be templated without it being completely built. We were assured it would not be a problem. After the counter tops were installed and the island was built, it was not a replica of what we requested. I advised Steven with Karshner the island was non-negotiable. Scott responded by stating he was cancelling my cambria backsplash behind the window and that I needed to pay an additional charge of $635. No additional charge was ever stated and I was told back in April that it was ordered. Scott also stated they were cancelling our patio door that was on order with an ETA of 5/28. In addition, Scott also cancelled installing kitchen recess lighting that was agreed upon additional charge. There are numerous other items that still need finished in the kitchen and bathroom. We have paid over $60,000.00 and would like everything that has been stated via email and/or text to be honored. I have all documentation.
