Hired Kendrick Moving to do our local move. They were Amazing !!! The crew was so polite, they hustled, without even asking they put down floor protection on our new carpet and new wood floors. We can not say enough good things about them. They beat our estimate by an hour and a half. If we ever move again we are definitely using Kendrick Moving again !!!

We called to schedule a move. A date of the 17th of the next month was discussed. Later telephone conversations mentioned also the 20th and 21st when we were told that the 17th was no longer available. They sent the owner to inspect the house, which involved numerous can/cannot do this, we talked about move logistics, and talked again about the expected dates.Emails were exchanged involving the expected time and cost, and again mentioning the dates. We had replies to those emails, so it was active.We called to verify the date/job and were informed that they were not possible. They had taken a large job instead, so our job was off.Someone in this business for this long should have developed business practices by now.- Keep track of what you promise. The excuse given was "unless you talk to me, nothing is set". Well, telephone and email don't seem to count.- Return calls. "She's on the phone now and will get back to you" sets an expectation, one that was not met.- Be honest. You got a better deal and decided to take it. The excuses were weak, at best. Just admit you chased the money.- Don't hide. We had to discover what was happening. So either you blew us off intentionally, or you forgot about us. Both are unacceptable.We live in a small town, so we often run into small businesses. I would describe Kendrick this way. They do what they do, not necessarily what they should. They are not going to change because they feel they don't have to. And those they deal with should just accept it and move on.Well, we did. Another mover is now handling the move, We wanted to support a local business, but that will not be happening.

I am sorry but we do not pencil anyone in. You have to schedule for a specific date. Customers can call and ask if we have this date or that date and if we do, we tell them its available. But that is not actually scheduling, you are just checking availability. We can not put customers on 3 different dates until they decide which one they want. We are sorry it did not work out but again, discussing dates and actually scheduling are 2 different things.
