  a Couple of montha ago I asked *** ***'s Garage asked to look at the rear end of my truck. He put it on the rack & said it was the Universal Joint. He replaced the Universal Joint. He y=took less thatn an hout=r to actually work on my truck charged me $240. The Universal Joint was not even the problem. I drove the truck & the rear end popped & I knew it was in the rear end. I told *** **** this. He told me to pull forward & back up about a dozen times. He heard the pop. it also blew a piece of the rea end thru the cap housing. He said , "I don't know what to do & he wasn't going to fix it". I went home with my truck. Talked to my frined. who ended up telling *** *** I was going to call the BBB & take him to court. *** *** called me & it is recorded threathened to Whip my butt & he didn't care if I was going to take him to court that he had lawyer."i am disabaled & on a limited income. i am going to have another garage do the repair & am asking that *** **** pay Rick's Garage in West Jefferson for the rear end repair. I need the amount paid for the unneeded Universal joint Repair refunded to me. I paid cash $240 & *** to pay me in cash.

  On January 30th **** came in and asked me to replace the U-joint on his truck. I ordered the U-joint for him and put it on his truck like he asked. I heard a noise and checked it out I told him that he needs a new rear end. We wrote up a quote for him the same time that we wrote up his bill for the U-joint. We pulled his truck out of the shop and parked it out front. We recommended that he does not drive it and that he has the truck towed home until he has the money for the rear end repairs. He had a friend named ****** come with a trailer, but his truck was too wide for the trailer. **** then put his truck in four high and drove it away. There were no leaks in the rear end when we had it on the rack or outside where it was parked. I had not heard anything from him until I called him when ****** told me **** was going to sue me. On the phone I asked him why someone said he was going to sue me. He said it was because there is a hole in the rear end. I told him that it was probably when he got mad and drove off in four high and that there was no hole in the rear end when it was here and he knows that because he came under the truck and was looking it over when I did the U-joint.
