Recently, I have been unable to contact a repair shop that repaired my vehicle. However, half of the repairs were not completed, or failed quickly. While the owner offered to complete the repairs and replace a damaged part, he has since stopped communicating with me. The repairs in question have been listed below for added clarity.-The front Push Bar was dented while at the shop and the owner offered to replace it.-The rear skiing glass window was repaired, but failed within days.-The passenger door panel could not be repaired, but more damage was done in the process-There was an additional 1000 miles put on the truck while it was being repaired.Initial Complaint

May 4, 2022 my truck was towed to Midnight Diesel for engine repair. Emailed Lane numerous times between May 4, 2022 and June 29, 2022 when I finally received a quote on fixing my truck. My mom paid paid Lane $6,600.00 on July 1 for parts to be ordered. Lane indicated once he had the money for parts he would order the parts and begin work when received. Various emails to Lane for next 6 months. Early January 2023 my mom called Lane to work out the rest of the payment to Lane. Last $3,000 was paid to Lane January 4, 2023 with understanding the truck would be finished quickly with no further cost to ******. Lane stated that the $3000 would cover everything and any cost over that would be the responsibility of Midnight Diesel as something went wrong when working on engine and what was the problem was Lane's doing not ******'s. Various more emails to Lane many never answered, Many phone calls to Lane most not answered or returned. April 10, 2023 was told truck was going to Ford Garage (Ricart) for diagnosis of what was wrong with truck. Lane was unable to diagnose the problem. Various more emails and phone calls attempted with no response. Finally at the end of May my truck was towed to Ricart Ford Dealer dropped off no one at Ricart notified that truck was there. June 12, 2023 I called Ricart to see what was going on with my truck. Ricart did not know truck was there went out to lot found truck told me they would start on it immediately. Ricart notified me couple days later that parts were missing. Ricart called Lane he said yes he has the missing parts and would bring to Ricard on June 23, 2023. Lane never showed up with the parts. Have not been able to contact Lane since then about the parts for my truck. Now wondering if he used my truck parts in someone else's truck or sold my parts since he is not producing the parts and not taking my or Ricart's phone calls or text messages. If this can be solved without criminal complaint would prefer that.Initial Complaint

Took my truck there May 2021 to get a rebuild done that was only supposed to take a couple months max! He ended up having my truck for a whole year after excuses after excuses! Got it back now have several oil leaks took the truck back to Midnight Diesel in April 2022 he said he was going to repair the oil leaks because I have a three-year warranty was supposed to fix it on a Saturday ended up calling and saying he couldn’t and now he will not return texts, calls ! The oil leak is so bad that I’m going through quarts of oil a day and if I don’t keep the oil in it it’s gonna blow up the motor that I just paid all this money to replace! Now I have to pay More money because now I have to take it to another shop to have the oil leak repaired because I cannot keep driving it with the oil leak that he refuses to fix!Business response

Per phone conversation, this complaint should have been removed. It is an invalid complaint because we are experiencing supply chain issues for parts, just like every other business right now. Vehicle is fixed and back in consumer's possession.
