On Saturday, July 15th I made 2 payments, the first of $150.37, the second payment I was trying to make a partial payment on a bill of $1906.37. When I got all my information put in it took the full amount out of my checking account plus another $150.37. that Monday I called to get the issue straighten out and they told me that it would take a maximum of 30 days and if I didn't receive my refund to call them 30 days. So, I called, and they told me that the person I talked to the first time didn't file the refund right and it would take another 30 days and I would see the refund would be put back on my card. So, I waited another 30 days and still no refund put back into my checking account. Unfortunately, I had to work some long hours at work so I couldn't call during business hours. But as Soon as I was able to, I called to tell them I had not received a refund like I had been told 3 times. The lady told me they received the money on Monday July 17th. and they received 2 payment 1 of $150.37 and the other of $1906.64. I told them I have 2 separate transactions, 1 for $150.37 and 1 for $2057.01. All I'm asking for is the refund of $150.37 since the has been paid twice. I provided them with a copy of the 2 transactions that was made, they told me that my refund was processed on the September 13, 2023. I don't think it is supposed to take almost 6 months to process of refund. If you need me to I can provide my bank statements form July to December 4. It will show the 2 transactions made on July 15th. and show I haven't received any refund.

I have been trying since 2020 to get a billing form faxed to my supplemental insurance company. (a simple fax). The billing department after many many calls, informed me it was done, it will be done, so on and so on, the year is now 2022 now and I call every couple weeks and still no fax has been sent....this was turned over to a claim "expiditer" Mr. James D****** who since May will not return any calls. But the billing department was very quick to send this to collections, but they can not handle a simple fax. I was informed by several billing employees they do not know who their supervisor/manager is,and if they did know the are not to give out the names, phones, so therefore no one can contact them. . To me that's alittle ridiculous. I want the so called "recorded phone calls and my account investigated on why a simple piece of paper is taking a over a year and 1/2 to be sent!!!!!!!!! My battle with lung cancer, seems to be easier than dealing with this billing contractor whom ever they are. It is a shame. Also I want my account to be removed from collections. I hope I receive a call back. It is a shame.

My son had to receive an MRI. His doctor sent him to the Toledo Mercy Hospital in Toledo Ohio. Before the MRI date, Mercy called to offer a 20% discount on the out-of-pocket if we prepay the amount. The total amount requested after the 20% discount came to $1,252.00 and was pulled from my Health Savings Account on 2/28/2022. Since the completion of the MRI, Mercy has sent several bills/late notices pertaining to the MRI bill stating that we owe $735.84. We called their billing department several times about the new bill. Their department did not have records that the $1,252 was paid for the MRI, however, they could see that they received the money. Every call ended with the billing department agreeing that Mercy owes us a refund of $516.16 and that they would correct the record and we would receive a refund within 30 days. Every time we receive a new bill or a late notice for the bill. This needs to be corrected.

In January 2022 I needed emergency services. I was billed in February. I paid the bill in two payments, the first being paid February 23 and second one paid march 3, 2022. Since then I have been bombarded with past due notices. I contacted MercyHealth numerous times and each time they get more rude and treat me like someone who doesn’t pay my bills . I have contacted our bank seven times and five different times they have sent the proof of payments over to Mercy Health who still tell me they have received nothing. No payments, no correspondence! I now have a third bill with the same issues.that bill was also paid on March 3, 2022 and Mercy is telling me they have no payment. Our bank has sent proof of all three payments!!! What can I do to get Mercy Health to locate our payments and get them applied to our account!!!!

ER Fairfield 9pm I enter the ER for left side pain leg n lower back. "Numbness left hip area nerve pain shooting down left leg. And tingling Dehydration 'cotton ball' mouth, kidney pain, passed 3 kidney stones in pass 72 hrs. Anxiety, shortness of breath. Dizziness/fainting episodes. After checking in I was sitted and waited about 30 mins before taken back to triage area. Nurse checked vitals explained the pain. Told me NP nurse practitioner will be in. Waited 15 mins explained to NP she told me to stop until she finished reading my history with a bad attitude and I explained to her the situation and she disgruntled said that there's nothing she can do for me, she read the CT scan and told me kidneys are fine there's nothing wrong. She then asked me to f/u with PCP but I'm on depression n anxiety for the appt on Nov. 30. 2021 that has nothing to do with my pain then told me what about the spine doctor told her it hasn't been approved yet so she confirmed with no empathy or regards to my pain I came in for she said well I can rerun the same testes which won't do you any good. At this point I was upset told her I came in here for help and to control my pain not go over my history and make remarks about where I need to go. I got up and told her I'm going to leave because she had no interest of trying to understand or try to help my situation in any matter I left with nerve pain and numbness tingling in my feet. My discharge paper says if you have numbness or tingling in foot or pain go to emergency room. Which I did n I walked out with pain. I messaged all my doctors about this as they are with mercy health. And told urologist that why am I taking all these test if my kidneys are fine n nothing is wrong. And why I have blood in my urine for 6 months and why do I have pain if everything is fine. I must be wasting people time on my situation. I don't want to be charge a hospital bill because it's consider elope when I leave. I'm still in pain and numbness in legs.
