We had a home inspection done by Chris prior to buying our home. There was multiple items missed, resulting in costly repairs. 1.) The closets shelves were improperly installed resulting in them failing and creating holes in the drywall. 2.) Roof not properly installed, no drip edge, multiple pieces of sheeting popping up, water damage inside house, fascia and gutters with holes. We have reached out to them directly and they have not responded.Business response

I want to apologize for Carl running late. Unfortunately, his afternoon inspection went longer than expected. We are trying to work with you and a site visit is part of our process because it allows us to get our eyes on the situation after reviewing your concern and your inspection report.
I want to make you aware that per our inspection agreement you did agree if a situation were to arise you would allow us to come out and review the concern. I have copied this section for your review, and it can also be viewed on your inspection agreement.
NOTICE AND RIGHT TO CURE: **** PROPERTIES. If the Property is located in ****, then prior to bringing, commencing, or maintaining an action arising out of the Inspection or this Agreement, Client is required to notify Inspector in writing of the alleged deficiencies and shall allow Inspector the opportunity to review and remedy the alleged deficiencies, and such notice must be given within ten (10) business days after the alleged deficiency reasonably should have been discovered by Client. Upon receipt of such notice by Inspector, Inspector shall be permitted the opportunity to re-inspect the Property within thirty (30) days, in order to cure any alleged deficiencies. Client agrees and acknowledges that failure to follow the provisions of this Section shall expressly waive any and all claims, actions, complaints, rights, or the like, that arise out of the Inspection or this Agreement.
I understand you made Carl aware you don’t want us to come out to review your concern and he is sorry for running late due to his afternoon inspection going over its scheduled time. This was not done on purpose and was out of his control. Carl did contact you within the time frame to make you aware he was running late.
However, we want to try to help and because you won’t allow us back to the property, we will offer you a full refund for your inspection with a signed full release agreement from the inspection.Thank you,
