I went for a car wash. The guy said sign up and you can cancel - I said no contract? he said no contract, you just come in an cancel. The next week I went in and cancelled. They continued to charge meBusiness response

Customer on 10/02/2022 signed up for our monthly membership. This monthly membership is a reoccurring charge, the customer authorized this reoccurring charge with a signed receipt at the time of purchase. Customer failed to cancel the membership when she no longer wished to have a monthly reoccurring charge. Our policy states we must receive a 7 day notice of discontinuation prior to the recharge date in order to stop further payments. Our policy also states that a refund is not offered when discontinuing a plan, the customer will have the remaining of their billing cycle to utilize the wash. This information is on the signed receipt as well as our our website. Customer failed to provide that notice and requested a refund for nonuse. Against policy and as a courtesy we provided the customer with a 6 month club plan. This allows her to use the wash for 6 months without paying any additional funds. We also issued a check for 90 days in the total amount of $138.00. The customer was reimbursed for a total value amount of ******. I spoke with the customer and completed this on 10/02/2023. As the customer did not contact our corporate office until days prior to this date. During that conversation the customer stated that she was completely satisfied with the outcome and thanked us for assisting her. The customer has not responded to my phone calls in regard to this complaint. This complaint should be closed for the above reasons.
