      We contracted with this company to remove our old driveway and porch and install a new concrete driveway, porch and sidewalk. The work was completed in November of 2021 and our basement started leaking after the work was completed. We tried multiple times to call ********************* at ************ and he stopped taking our calls and did not return our calls. My husband visited ********************* at his home and spoke with him and he came to our home and admitted that he was responsible for the leak in our basement and agreed to fix the problem. However, he as not shown up any of the times that he tells us that he will come and fix the problem. We are concerned that the foundation may begin crumbling due to the water leaking in the basement every time it rains.

      The business owner informed BBB that there is a 4x4 section that needs to be cut out and repoured.  He will do the work before the end of October.

      Better Business Bureau:

      We have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to us. However, we would like for you to keep the case open until after the date that the business says that they will finish the work as the business has not done what they said they would do in the past. Prior to initiating this complaint, we had contacted him multiple times and every time that he has said that he would come to finish the repair, he did not.

      We have NOT received any communication from ********************* (L&M Masonry & Concrete) RE our complaint back in August. He did not repair the concrete and our basement is still leaking. We would like to reopen the complaint. Previous complaint Number was ********.

      Business owner, ***************************, passed away on January 12, 2023 after a two-month illness.  ****************' son, *****************, plans to continue the business.  He is willing to do the repair in the springtime.  He asks that the consumer contact him to schedule a time.

      We hired this company to repair our walls in basement due to leaking in the winter of 2020. In the Spring of 2021, it was raining and we got a lot of water in our basement. I called Mike to come see the issue and he said he would but never came back. I called again and he said he was busy but would come back. Again, he never showed up but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Called again and he said he would be back out and once again never showed up. It ended up being 4 calls and no 4 no shows by Mike now. I have provided pics that show water marks where the water comes in every time it rains now in my basement. We paid $9500.00 to him to fix the leaking and repair our walls and to only have water still coming in our basement. I really want this fixed or money back to have someone else fix this the right way.

      The business owner informed BBB that this matter has been going on for over a year.  The owner has told the consumer what he needs to do.  The consumer is still dissatisfied.  

      The business owner will bring dirt.  Delivery will be weather permitting, but should be done by Memorial Day at the latest.
