I bought a refrigerator and stove and I understand it is second hand however he assured me the worked well ! I was not able to use the items until 3 weeks after purchase because I had not moved into my place. The second day of the refrigerator being plugged in I realized the bottom half of the fridge was not getting cold like it should and I called for the man to come out and he specified I was out of my thirty days, but yet he still came and then tried to tell me my kids left it open or not shutting it all the way as he then proceeded to say the fridge isn’t closing all the way well if that is the case I bought it like that. I just moved into my house and my kids haven’t even stayed here yet and he didn’t know I had kids he just assumed. When he came I then told him about my stove and how the one burner in the front no matter how low you turn it on it gets fire hot and I can’t use because will possible burn up my food as well as the oven does the same thing and all he could say was it’s working . But not correctly and I do have a teenager that cooks sometimes. I am still having to pay on faulty appliances and he is not nice when you tell him something is wrong with the items he sold you. I am border line scared because of how he talks to you. Which I have a witness when he came to my house . Also witnesses to say that fridge or stove did not get plugged or use until July 21st.Business response

The consumer bought the appliance with financing. It was delivered to *** ******** ***. The handles were taken off to fit the appliance in the home. Consumer called a month later regarding the appliance which at that time they were out of warranty. The consumer had moved and took the doors and things off the appliance themselves and did not properly put them back on. Consumer did not have money to pay for the service call. The business stated they usually charge for service calls but did not charge the consumer. The business did not have the proper equipment for the job but they let the consumer know what was needed to complete the work on their own. The consumer needed spacers, screws and a safety strap to fix the appliance. The business is not at fault. The consumer removed the parts during their move and did not properly put them back on.

I am rejecting this response because:
In the time of this month going by appliances sat in a dry storage facility because of not being able to move in *** ******** however that does not mean that with in that time I stopped the button part of the refrigerator from working or for my stove not being able to be turned down when cooking . You can put it on low and the aside will still get red hot like it is on high! I was talked to foul by the sealer and told my kids were to blame when he never even knew if I had kids. Yes the door handles were taking off to get appliance in the house but that has absolutely nothing to do with it not getting cold and spoiling all my items in the refrigerator. I refuse to have to pay for something that isn’t working after only having for 30 days when called the saler it was possible 33 days not quite far from 30 days and that why he said he would come out and did and just said it’s nothing he could do so of course I didn’t pay for a service call considering nothing was fixed and again he wouldn’t have to come check the product if it was faulty to begin with.
