      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I just wanted to say that it was the auto body shops fault for the vehicle sitting  for two weeks where it broke down  on me at. For two weeks i thought  it was at the body shop getting  looked at.I was calling  and talking  to them. And around two weeks later i  get a call from them saying  that my car wasn't there. And i was calling  and talking  to them about what i thought  was my car. But come  to find out they got me mixed up with someone elses car. So my car had been sitting there where it broke down for two  weeks. I don't  care about how many miles was on it I bought  a car to drive and do things.
But i didn't  buy one for it to break down on me six days later. I have never had that happen  to me before.  The mileage doesn't  matter. The vehicle broke down six days after i got it. I called my insurance  to have it towed and i thought it had been. But come to find out that it was never towed and it sat where i left it for two weeks before it got to the shop. I'm  not paying 7500. Dollars for a vehicle that breaks down after only having it a week. All i want is my deposit back and they can do whatever they want with the vehicle. I wouldn't  trust it now. i just don't  have 2000 dollars to cover what my warranty company doesn't. It was costing  me a fortune  for a rental. I just want my money back and just get this settled so i can get me a vehicle. They don't  know  all i have bern through . Im pretty much homeless  and if i had a vehicle i atleast would have been out of the cold. 2700 dollars  is alot of money to me and i just want it back so i can get this done and over with.

      Regards,

I bought a vehicle from them and they told me it needed a heater core flush which is fine they disclosed the information to me so I wasn’t worried about it. When I went to have the service done they told me that it was not the problem that the water pump needed replaced which cost almost 400$ after fixing the water pump I now am going to have to have the entire heater core replaced which costs over one thousand dollars because the car lot put stop leak in the vehicle to hide the faulty water pump which caused the heater core to become clogged. I think it is awful that they took such advantage of me and shouldn’t be allowed to do this to anyone else.

THe customer Purchased the vehicle from us on November 22nd,2022, the customer was aware that she was purchasing the vehicle AS IS and signed the buyers guide attached to the reply. fist of all as the customer was going through the sale process we suggested and offered the customer a few options on to purchase vehicle with a warranty and not get such a huge discount, 2. for use to make room on our rack for the customer to inspect vehicle for self using our rack, or 3. take the vehicle to a mechanic of their choice to have it checked out. All three options were declined. As far as the statement of us putting stop leak in the vehicle that is false we do not use it at all .. Im not saying that the repair shop lied about it being in there just saying we did not do so. we have many cars and we only have them for a short time we dont know complete history of all cars. the customer asked about a water noise in dash so our sales person asked our mechanic what it could be and he stated it could be just needing heater core flushed ( a common problem) we never pulled car in to do an inspection and customer decided to purchase car as is. This seems to be buyers remorse after a rush decision by the customer. All we can do is present what we know and allow a customer to make a choice.
