  On Monday, April 22 Chris R*** owner of Rapp Exteriors came out to clean my gutters and powerwash my siding. I was concerned about the wood trim on my house. He assured me that it wouldn't hurt the paint. He then cleaned the gutters, power-washed the house, collected his money, and left in a hurry to pick his daughter up. When I checked the house after he left, he did not power wash one whole side of the house and the wood trim was all messed up. The paint was taken off and the siding and garage doors all bleached out. I immediately took pictures and texted him with pictures and my dissatisfaction. He came back out the next day to check everything over and said it needed to be rinsed again. On Tuesday 4/23 he came back and said he missed the whole side of vinyl and would fix that and clean up all the leaves he left in my yard while cleaning the gutters. I asked him about the garage doors being bleached out and he said he'd have to come back so I could show him what I meant. He came back on Thursday 4/25 and I showed him my concerns and how awful the job was. He then agreed that it did look off and that he would come back again on Friday 4/26 but canceled. That evening, when I was taking my garbage out, I went to get something out of my refrigerator in the garage and it was off. I checked the breaker, etc and it was not blown. My deep freeze was also off. I checked all the GFI and the basement one was blown which is in direct line of the porch so water must have triggered the GFI while he was power washing. On Saturday, he arrived at 4:03 to redo his work. I told him about the outlet blowing the GFI. He was rude and said what do you want to do. I said I'd like a refund because the work was not done correctly and looks awful. I now have to paint my entire house because of this unprofessional job. It looks horrible! He said, "Fine, I'll be right back." He went to his truck and left. I texted him on Monday 4/29 about where my refund is and he has not replied.

  5.30.2024 Chris R*** responded to complaint via phone call to BBB. Chris stated that power washing the  exterior of consumer's home reveled the poor condition of the wood and vinyl siding. Wood and vinyl siding needs to be replaced/repainted.

  The response made by Chris R*** is not true!! The siding on my house does not need repaired and was in great condition prior to Rapp Exteriors power washing my home. Again, the power washing was to the siding only and was not supposed to be on the wood to take the paint off. He specifically indicated that it WOULD NOT damage the wood. It was strictly just the siding. It was not completed correctly and he had to come back several times to correct issues and still did not complete it correctly. I have several text messages with him indicating this and him agreeing that he missed spots and he also knew that it was not done right. I also have pictures which I included in the original complaint and had another company come out and they too verified that the work was not done correctly. He also knew that what he did was not right, hence offering me a refund but then leaves and never returns. I have reached out several times and he does not respond. That in itself shows that he knows he told me he would be back with the refund and never did. Therefore, I DO NOT accept the response given.
