On July 24, 2024 I contacted Tri-City Appliance Repair Mason Ohio ***** ******** for my Ice dispenser not working. He arrived and said that the part needed to be replaced He said that I could order part or that he would order it from Sears. I ask him if Amazon had the part and he said no. He proceeded and charged me $463.48. Moments after he left, I found the part on Amazon and called him. I told him that I found it at Amazon for $215.15 and he agreed that I could and did order part and that he would refund the difference to me by check. He has not responded and does not answer the phone. I left a message in his answering machine, but np response. He owes me for the part charge that he is not providing.

I contacted ***** ********* (***) at Tri-City Appliance Repair on March 20 because our washer was not filling to the levels it always had been. It began to always fill to the ***e low level. In particular it was clear that the deep water wash fill was not working. There is even a picture on the inside of the washer lid that shows how much higher the deep water wash fills. It has worked correctly this way for the seven years that we have owned it. *** determined that the main control board was the problem. We paid $377.30 by check for the main control board. He replaced that on March 21. Assuming that the repair was correct, I paid him the labor cost of $269.50 by check on March 21.. That is a total payment of $646.80. On March 22 I used the washer. I had the ***e level problem as before. I called and texted *** back and forth. He returned on March 23. He tried various things. Each time I showed him the picture on the lid and reiterated that the washer does not fill to where it should for deep water wash, in addition to the other inaccurate fillings. He said the only other possibility was the water level valve. He said he would research that and get back to me. As he left he said, "Sorry about that." It took days for the part to come in, then he was out of town and then we were. I arranged for him to replace the valve on April 17. He did not charge for the valve or labor. The water level problem persists. There has been no change since we called him originally. I texted that information to him and today asked for a refund. Here is his reply text: "I replaced you main control board and I replaced the water level that I didn't charge you for and that's what the manufacturer said to do do you think I work for free? Your machine is working fine. its you that has a problem with the way it works. So call whirlpool and tel them."

We had a man from Tri-City Appliance Repair come out on January 28, 2023 named ***. Our dishwasher was leaking into our basement. He came out with another man. While here they spoke Spanish to one another and then told us a mouse had chewed through our hose. We had someone come out about mice so it seemed legit. He told us he would have to get a new hose but need half the money up front. So I paid him $165.45 in a check and he came back out the next Saturday, February 4, 2023. He added a hoes that was the wrong hose. He tried to melt the rubber gasket onto the hoes to get it to work. He then had to order a second hoes and came out Saturday, February 11, 2023. He put the new hose on, paid him $165.45 and left. We ran a load in the dishwasher on Sunday, February 12, 2023 and water was still leaking into the basement. I immediately called this number and told him what was going on. He did not answer so I left a messages about the problem and texted. He wouldn't get back to me. I contacted him again Tuesday, February, 14, 2023. Wednesday I messaged the third time and asked if he had even seen my text. He finally responded on Wednesday, February, 15, 2023 asking " what test" "oh I see". He told me we wouldn't be charged again to come look at it and I told him we wouldn't be home this weekend and I'd let him know when we could reschedule. He has been very avoidant so we called another company to come out and after that person told us what was wrong, I called Tri- City Appliance repair to tell him I had someone out. *** then stopped me and said "we have nothing else to discuss." and hung up the phone. The man that was fixing the dishwasher was baffled by what had happened, saying how rude he was and when he finished he came back in to find out the name and number of the company. I paid this *** from Tri-City Appliance Repair a total of $330.90 and he left me with the ***e problem as I had before he showed up. Now I have had to pay another company to fix the problem.

Hired a "repairman" to look at my washer which would not spin. He said the motor was dead, nothing could be done about it. He said replacing the motor would cost $600; best to buy a new one. He charged $107 for this information and cashed the check on the same day. Afterward, I called Samsung and they diagnosed the problem over the phone and helped us fix it ourselves (the control panel simply needed to be reset). The motor was not dead. The issue was diagnosed incorrectly. I called the "business owner" to discuss. He hung up on me and would not take my calls. THIS IS A SCAM, not a business. Had we taken this man's advice, we likely would have purchased a new washer.
