MY 9 YEAR OLD SON STARTED USING IT AFTER I HAD PRIMMED IT, ON 05/28/24, WITH A STARTING 120 READING ON THE COUNTER. HE USES ONE PUFF TWICE DAILY VIA A SPACER. (3). THIS BALANCE POSED A RED-FLAG SO, IMMEDIATELY I WENT TO COMPLAINT AT THE *********. I received a defective inhaler from this company on 3/15/24 via my pharmacy, ******. It worked fine for a few days and stopped. I noticed I did not feel its effect and “wasted” some of the powder doses to check if the inhaler was distributing any and it was not. I called my pharmacy and they said they could not help me, nor would insurance be likely to give me an emergency substitute, so I should call Prasco. I called them and the customer service rep was very rude, telling me it is distributing powder even though it wasn’t. She told me to keep hitting the inhaler and I said maybe there was some dust? And she said that since I said there was powder, the inhaler is not defective and they will not assist me. I tried to explain it wasn’t an actual dose but she wouldn’t listen. I popped the inhaler open and saw the wheels that turn the paper backing off the foil blisters was not working and she yelled at me that I now defected the inhaler and they definitely will not help me. I know I shouldn’t have opened it, but I’m also a respiratory therapist and a pharmacy technician and I knew there was something wrong. She tried to manipulate me into agreeing the inhaler was not broken. I’ve never filed a complaint before or asked for a free inhaler before, I just want a replacement.

      Hello!
I wanted to update claim ID********. Prasco has contacted me and has allowed me to get a replacement inhaler. I do not appreciate how poorly I was treated, but I am happy with the outcome and wanted to be sure you were aware of the status.

      Thanks so much!
