I ordered two shower doors from Basco in July 2023. The doors were installed in September 2023. During the installation process, there was damage done to the shower floor and tiles were cracked. Basco had someone come out to repair the tile 10/27/23 but the workmanship was unsatisfactory. Tiles were not level, grout was the wrong color and it looked terrible. I called the same day and said the work was unacceptable. They told me they were expecting my call because the tile repair guy said he did a bad job. It is now 12/14/23 and Basco has not repaired the tile. They keep saying they will send someone out but never follow through.Initial Complaint

I had purchased shower doors for my home on March 31, 2021, I was going to install them on my vacation in June but I ended up with medical issues which landed me to see the VA, I chose to wait till I got better and chose to install the doors on my current vacation (Feb 14-20th) Today the 17th, I removed the old glass doors I installed over two years ago and I began to install the new doors, the installation took a little time, following the enclosed instructions. When it came time to hang the doors I was in the stall and my partner was out, we got the first door hung and it was fine, my partner took notice of the way the doors were mounted, there was nothing from allowing the glass to slip from the mount that the manufacture-installed, but the manufacture should know what it's doing. Upon hanging the second door, we got it hung as we let go, the glass door literally exploded sending glass shards and pieces all over me, the shower stall, my partner, and the bathroom floor leaving both of us with minor cuts due to the glass and just an extra note, the glass seemed to be popping, making a popping sound. Taking a few minutes to gather my thoughts what happened and from the shock of having glass explode in my face, I stood in the stall attempting to clean myself from the glass, my partner after cleaning himself called Home Depot and spoke to a manager named *****, after telling her what had happened she informed him that this exact same thing happened to another person she dealt with, she said that the company ***** allowed the customer to go to the store and get another, we said that we do not want another, not after just what happened, I didn't feel like having another door exploding on me. She gave us the phone number and email address and made notes on our account about what happened and for us to keep them informed on what the company said. Nother while ***** was on the phone with us, we let her hear the sound of the glass popping. I feel that both Home Depot and Ba
