Horrible customer service and lies all around about taking care of shattered glass door that hurt my daughter and resulted from her ending up in the ER to remove thousand of pieces of shattered glass throughout her hair and glass stuck into her skin. They claim they would have information handed to their insurance company, but they never did and gave me the run around. I finally managed to get a rep out from Basco to do the measurements that they wanted me to do in order to find out if my installer was at fault. His finding when he told my husband and myself were that the installer did everything right according to the installation instructions. Since I had opened a claim through their insurance company (since they never did) ********** has blamed my installer and my daughter even though Basco had told me that this incident has happened to them before and if their glass was badly cut and/or a bubble gotten into the glass during production, it is common for the glass to shatter. I have requested Basco for the written review of their rep that had taken the measurements from my house, but no one responds to *************** has said in order to get that information, I would have to take them to court. Why would they hide this information if they need to prove to me that I was at fault and not them?I am just grateful that the glass did not get into my daughters eyes or the sharp edge did not get into an artery in her neck as oppose to the scar it's left on her shoulder. This by no means is a tempered glass as a tempered glass is not suppose to shatter the way it did. It is usually protected by a film on the glass so all the broken pieces would stay in place. The next victim might not be as lucky and get glass shattered into their eye & serious damage done to them.They don't even deserve the one star!!!
