On September 1, 2023 I wrote a check in the amount of $8,124.00. I selected faucets and tile for my bathrooms. Work was to finally begin in November. The job was cancelled twice the end of November with no new start date given. I told them I was going to find someone else that would actually do the job. I was told I would get a refund in an email December 16. I can no longer get ahold of the company and have had no further contact. They don't answer the phone or return messages or emails. Sorry for the delay had a family member in hospice. This project was approved in September which the owner was told ordering material for 2 bathrooms, which she had to select the faucet style and flooring from one of the suppliers. The owner was told , delivery time is 6-8 weeks order which would put us into November, and the owner said that's fine. At that time a start fee of $ 8,124.00 was given and my plumber got started on ordering all material needed from a picture given by the owner to match the 1/2 bath style. All fixtures, pedicle style sink, toilets and material needed for this project. Most of the material was a " Special order ". I told the electrician, drywaller and painter to schedule this project was approved.
I was told November 10th, from the owner she needs to change the project from 2 bathrooms to the 1/2 bathroom only and would the start fee pay for the project, due to she's getting a Divorce . I told her I'll have to go over the quote to adjust and we'll start on the 16th. I did have to cancel two times , due to finishing a kitchen project and my subs also couldn't start as well , I did stated we'll diffidently start on Monday after Thanksgiving. She emailed me on 11/21/23 , that she got someone else to start on Friday 11/24/23 and she never told me that she's getting someone else and what's her money back.
I emailed her about the return of all material will take time for a refund 30-60 days and she will have to pay all labor involved , before any refund is given. My subs were complaining about the cancel and they turned down other projects and myself also, that she canceled 2 days before start. It's taking longer for a refund due to all special orders from the suppliers which don't like to refund and the labor cost involved is costly also and she'll be getting a refund when and only when it's complete. The project would have gone through as planned if the workers showed up when they were supposed to, They didn’t show twice so I no longer wished to work with this company.
I only picked out faucets and flooring. Showing someone a picture of an idea does not give them free range to select anything. If you asked me to pick faucets and flooring, which were also in the picture i assume you will ask me about everything that will be in my bathroom.
I had absolutely no communication from the company for months. Wouldn’t answer email or phone calls. I contacted a lawyer thinking the company must have gone out of business.

First of all I did email her on March 6th about the progress of the refund and also on April 1st and no response from both emails. I have all the info I need from my subs that was involved with this project and she'll be receiving my invoice / refund for review by April 10th.
Also I never said there would be a refund by Dec.16th , I stated most of the refunds will take 30-60 days, seeing most of the material needed for both bathrooms where Special Orders did take longer to receive refunds with restocking charges involved .

RES-COMM HAS GIVEN THE CUSTOMER HER INVOICE AND REBATE FOR THE SERVICES FOR HER PROJECT, THEN SHE CANCELLED THE PROJECT 2 DAYS BEFORE STARTING , ALL THE CHARGES WAS LABOR INVOLVED FROM GETTING MATERIAL AND RETURNING MATERIAL, GAS INVOLVED,RESTOCKING FEE AND STORAGE FEE FOR THIS PROJECT.

This has been going on for months and I did send emails to her with no response, except for the the final invoice and her refund. Her lawyer has called my office and I did responded to her message , had to leave a message , but no response yet.
The only thing she had to pick out was the faucet and flooring, the rest was ordered from the picture which was the same material needed.
I had to cancel 2 start dates with was in the same week due to finishing a previous project. Res-Comm has the right to delay the project or start time .
I didn't start this mess to customer did, canceling 2 days before start
