I have been a roadside member for years I called in to use one of my 4 calls for an was told my account was downgraded be in the last 3 year I have used it to much I was told that I was not allowed to use what I pay for because AAA wants you to pay for something you can’t use I’ve never heard of that how can a company want to take my money but not tell me I can’t use it for the service I pay for I will never recommend them again if I could cancel I would I would not be renewing them I’m so disappointed in this business it’s hard as it is

I have 6 years of membership with Triple A as a gold star member and had it through my family, otherwise I would have cancelled it long ago. Once again, as I sit on a clear sky tuesday night in mid july, my girlfriend and I had a flat tire and I called Triple A at 11:47--- no wait, have to go through the cancerous phone system---12:06am. My request was, again, not submitted to the dispatch, and as the time ticks by I realized at 12:45 noone is coming again and I have received no contact. I go through the horrendous, looping automated system (If you click "2" to check the status of an existing service request, it loops you back to the very beginning!!!!!) and finally get transferred to dispatch, where noone has received my request and the driver was immediately available to take my request! Oh wait no, that wouldn't be Triple A OH would it? No, of course not, my driver decided to sit at a gas station for 45 minutes and it is now 1:47am as I have been forced to call off work tomorrow sitting, without updates or contact, for whenever this obnoxious company decides it's financially beneficial for me to exist in their eyes. In the past I have been stranded in the ghetto in light rain for HOURS, forgotten. If you are sitting in your car, alone and abandoned, debating walking the mile or two to the gas station or waiting for Triple A, GO. Cancel this crap service and go through any of the alternatives, this company should sink into the damn ocean.

Absolutely horrific "customer service". I have been a customer off and on for several years. After discontinuing my membership for membership for six months again, I decided to try once more after receiving several letters and phone calls. Likely I will not renew again the next time. I was reminded why they are so horrible after only having been a member for two months again. Membership cards haven't come yet. When I called and asked about them, the woman blamed me, got nasty with me and I could hear her saying, "OMG!" because I told her to stop interrupting me every time I tried to explain the situation. She was rude and couldn't have cared less what was happening with AAA service or why people were quitting AAA. She just wanted me off the phone. Since most people are working from home now, I assume she wanted to go back to her daytime soaps. The only thing AAA is good for now is road service. If you need it for anything else, don't even bother, they're useless. You can't get local offices to answer the phone for travel assistance, ticket information, or anything else. Their in house automotive service straight up lies, and cannot be trusted (per an incident I had and one my sister had) and I would never have them take my car there. They also withheld info about double charging me for another person on my àccount. Never again.

Don’t waste your time getting a AAA membership!! Mom was stranded met her and after getting hung up on by multiple AAA people finally scheduled a tow then they never showed. We called and the tow was cancelled, no one advised us. We had waited for over an hour and a half. We called back and they were going to reschedule for 8 am, but it didn’t happen so I tried to call back for a 6th time to be on hold for a half hour and finally just cancelled online. My mom would have just been stranded had one of us couldn’t have gotten her. Been a member for 22 years. Apparently the service has massively declined, they don’t care about their customers and they are unreliable. I don’t suggest getting a membership anymore.
