On January 12, 2024, I was stopped at a red light and another car hit my car. My car was not drivable and my insurance carrier, State Farm, set up a rental car with Enterprise Maumee. When I arrived, they told me my choices were a Toyota Camry, a Hyundai Sonata, and some other American cars of this size. I asked if they had anything smaller- the car that was hit was a Honda Fit and I am used to driving smaller cars. The clerk from Enterprise said no, they only had these or larger. I reluctantly chose the Hyundai Sonata. I had this rental car until February 1, 2024, and upon receiving the receipt saw I had been charged $4.47 per day because my insurance did not cover such a large vehicle. I want that $93.79 plus tax refunded as I asked for a smaller car and was denied one, and I as never told that taking this larger car would result in a bill of almost $100- I was never told I’d have to be paying for their inability to provide a smaller vehicle. I contacted them on February 2 and got a response that they’d look into it but since then I’ve heard nothing.
